Cold snap ? I wish ! 107 degrees here yesterday. My grass is brown and crackly and my swimming pool drops by an inch per day. On the plus side, Tamiya enamel dries in about 2 minutes........

It just started snowing here in Greenville, TX, which about 45 miles east of Dallas. 10 o'clock news shows it coming down pretty good in Dallas proper. A rare even this early for this part of Texas... My old joints are not liking it one bit, by the way.

It's weakening and suppose to warm up so we'll see. I don't use that much natural gas as I got into R values and vapor barrier. Their always raising it's cost 3% ,so it's no different from cooling costs. Freezing pipes and some didn't get the chance to blow out their systems. Caught farmers in middle states off guard to harvest a lot of corn. When it gets colder than and ice house 'it's cold'.. I'm no alarmist so I guess I have to adapt to my world.

L. O. L. Arizona I know a lot of folks that have moved there. I got to have 4 seasons. Your dust storms are Awesome.
Cold snap??? It's super nice here in Tucson right now. Might get down into the mid 40's Sunday morning, a big savings from those summer electric bills. But we enjoy it while we can for it heats up again come the end of April.
On the bench: So many hanger queens.
Looks like another early winter for me.
Can't help thinking of the Twilight Zone episode "Midnight Sun" .
It's nice,I really enjoy the change of seasons, and this 35-45 degree highs are among my favorite.
Glad to see good spirits,, one thing about modelers they have no excuse to be idle. 800 mile wide typhoon caused the jet stream to blow from the north out of the Yukon. We go to hockey games at our local rink and routinely feel cold. This dries your skin burn type of cold. Completely out of the norm weather patterns. We'll see how this winter plays out.
Good one, vol! I had a cup of coffee in SE Texas and lunch in Rapid City. Brrrr. Break out the Tamiya Thin...

I went to sleep in Mississippi, woke up in Minnesota...
Just watch next week we'll be back in the 40's again. She's a little early by my calendar.
Winter's coming so what do you expect? LOL! Don't bother me one bit. Just gotta roll with the punches Mother Nature throws at you.
Leaves still on the ground, and will probably stay now until spring. Can't paint in the garage anymore until I gat a tarp up and warm the area. The boss won't let me paint in the house, even with a paint booth and acrylics. Oh well. I guess it's a fair trade for letting me work on them at all.

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Just starting to get some real temp drops here in Mass. Yeah, leaves are still on the front lawn. Mother nature put them there she will take them away.
