I can echo the "fed-up-ness". In Louisville KY, we have had it pretty good the last few years. This year about a foot of snow in one event. Being a heart patient, I am not supposed to shovel show. We paid a friends son to plow the drive out with a tractor and then  I bought a snow blade for the lawn tractor, put it on Friday evening. Friday morning it was -5 and by Saturday afternoon, it was 39 and raining, sleeting, snowing, freezing raining, you name it. All at once. I plowed a bunch of slush off the drive and now have a nice layer of ice to deal with just outside the garage! Sheesh.

Another 4-8" coming tonight.  This has to stop soon. Even the guys that plow are getting sick of it

You know what they say about snowstorms - they roar like a lion and go out like a lamb.

We're getting 6 to 10 here in SE Pa. on top of all the ice we got the other day.  They say it's still coming up from Kentucky and won't stop till around 7:00 tonight.  There's about 5 out there now so it looks like we may get to the 10.  I'm too old to shovel all this stuff.  The guy who usually plows the driveway for us just called and said that his plow isn't working.  He has to dig himself out first just to get out to get parts to fix it.  Hope he makes it.  We have a long driveway to shovel.

Hey, don't blame us...  There was 18 to 24" just south of Louisville last night and we got it from Arkansas... Smile

You still have snow falling today, Monday, the 23rd?  Where are you?

I live in SE PA, ours ended Friday night around 8PM, and almost all of what fell on Friday has melted over the weekend.  We're back now to the solid, frozen remnants of the snow that fell in previous storms.

When I was a kid--well, when I was still in high school--three years in a row, it snowed in our area on October 10.  And I remember riding the bus home from school and passing through the line where it changed from snow to rain.  It was like a cartoon.

And even longer ago, I remember the Fourth of July in 1977, it was in the 40s that day.  We all wore jeans and long-sleeved shirts or jackets at our cookout.

Weird, wild stuff!

Thanks, Baron,

It is November 21st-

That Weird, wild stuff is back in Northern Illinois- kinda like the teaser for a Bruce Willis movie:

Snow Hard with a Vengeance !!   Surprise

Found about ten inches ( 26 Cm) of wet, heavy, heart attack snow on the ground this morning..............still snowing heavily.

I'm in Central FL and finally tomorrow will be getting our first cold front. The low will be 50 and a high of 73.

I was pressure washing the pool pavers and it was a muggy 76 so I'm glad the cooler weather will be coming in.

Aa someone who has been living in Florida for most of my life It seems that as I get older I tolerate heat less.

As far as the water table thing, it rains like crazy here but for some ridiculous reason, the County I live in has watering restrictions for lawn maintenence which I find silly.

I don't like Florida..no appeal to me. And, I don't like putting up x-mas lights, no matter what I'm wearing...or not wearing! The job I'm on now (and have done for the last 3 years) has cured me of that joy. It takes 4 guys, 4 full days to light up this one house. It is a sight to behold for sure, but....bah humbug.

10a.m. this morning...

Normally...I'm all for it....the more the merrier...but still having a few more work days left...this is the stuff that nightmares are made out of. The work is PITA enough on it's own...add 9 inches to the equation, and it's a truck load of suck!

Had it been two weeks later..I'd be lovin it!
