Weatherman says Thursdays storm will only bring 1-4".  Nice.  I'm running out of places to put it.  My snowblower can't throw it high enough

Don't mind the ice too much.  I try the slip and slide when possible on the back road when it's deserted.  I do OK.  Don't like it when it happens while in traffic though.  Don't know what the other guy is going to do.

Wayne,

I've noticed over the years, that Denver's  and Boise's weather are almost the same. My father lived in Denver for around 20 years and passed in 06.

Boise ID is in the mid 30's for the low, mid 50's for the high and sun all week long. Sorry.

Here in Minneapolis they are forecasting 3-5 inches today, over sleet or freezing rain.  By the sounds of it the sleet or freezing rain is just starting.

BlackSheepTwoOneFour

Heh - the trouble with southerners is they go into full panic mode over 2 inches of snow.

Over here in the good 'ol UK, England-shire, StormUmbrellaWink  0.25Inches is enough cause 'Snow-mageddon' headlines.
Over here it was patchy, & I only spun off once, like ice-skating backwards, I can do it, but not on purpose Confused

Man send some of it out here...we are at 16 % of normal pack in the Cascades and if we don't get a bunch  this month I hate to think what fire season will be like.  Will be a tinderbox by June and forest fires breaking out in spades, and they won't be little ones.

Gotta love California. Cool

Let me reiterate that, the part of CA I am in never gets snow.

Up in northern CA they have multiple ski resorts.

Well supposed to get another couple of inches tonight.  No big deal.  Now they are saying Sunday Monday Tuesday another possible 2 feet.  I know I live in new England but this is ridiculous.   I'm a mail carrier this is putting a lot of extra mileage on my feet can't cut across lawns to deep.  John

Hey BlackSheep - where are you in upstate NY? I'm in Albany, home of the finest bunch of corrupt legislators money can buy. There was a huge run on the stores here too and I still think the south is the answer. Maybe it rains instead of snows but I never shoveled rain.

Jeff, Blacksheep's a good guy, though we've never met I consider him a friend- we're just joking around don't be so serious Stick out tongue

Never been there other than passing thru heading to Syracuse when my daughter was in school there. I don't know why it's called Sin City but having had a few Utica Clubs over the years I'll say that's a sinful product.

Lol, I was joking about Florida. Nice in the winter but not a big fan in the summer. Know what you mean about hurricanes though I think I'd have more issue with the heat, humidity, and mosquitoes in the summer.

Got that right, was in MS 4 years after Camile----  Hurricane alley and tornados, you can keep them..At least with a wild fire or earthquake, whatever is left of the house is in pretty much the same place you left it, not 15 counties downwind away.

Course, spent time shoveling off roofs to get the snow load down so they didn't come down when I was younger and in school.

Are all the Home Depots that run out of shovels in the southern states???????????   The world wonders.

Don't want to move to Florida. I used to but then I was visiting the in-laws and got caught in a hurricane.  I'll take a little snow anytime.  Just put on the coffee and sit at the workbench till the snow melts.
