Hunter, and family,  I am so sorry to hear of Jeff's passing.  While we did not interact much in the Forum, he seemed a man of grace and courage.  Please know that I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers in this difficult time.  Jeff, may the angels come out to meet you and escort you to heaven and may God grant you eternal rest and peace.  Hunter and family, may God grant you comfort and peace knowing you will see each other again when our time here is through.

Hunter,

My deepest condolences to you and your family. My presence here has been sporadic and while I didn't interact with your dad, I'm heartened that he found these forums to be a source of joy. I know I have.

May your family find peace and comfort in one another.

Hunter,

I can only repeat what many others have already said.  Please accept my most sincere condolences to you and your family during this most difficult time.  Although there is usually some advance warning, you can never fully prepare yourself for the loss of a parent or loved one.  Take solace in the fact that you have the support, if not physical at least moral and spiritual, from the many friends and acquaintances your dad had on this forum.  It has been 28 years since my dad passed and I still miss him.  As Joe said, the pain will never completely go away but it will lessen with time.

With deepest sympathies,

Mike

Jeff, you have been an inspiration to so many of us who may have to deal with the problems you have faced.  The battle may be over, but you have won it by showing how strong and confident a person can be when faced with such odds and passing that confidence onto others.  You will not be forgotten here my friend.

You are now really in the land of the Big Sky, and we all someday look forward to joining you in the great group build and seeing what you will have on the bench.

All our love and prayers are with your wife and family.
