Condolences Due

For those who follow and appreciate the US Navy SEAL Teams; sad news.

Commander Richard Marchinko, Founder of SEAL Team Six, and CO of Team 6 and Team 2, passed away on 25 December, 2021.

Deepest sympathies go out to his family, and to the Teams.

"Why do I do this? Because the money's good, the scenery changes and they let me use explosives, okay?"

Especially on the 25th!

My feelings certainly go to family and friends and other members of the teams who served with him !From a Sailor/Marine who knew some, OOH RAH !!

Thank you for the sentiments.     But just to be clear; The Teams, as well as EOD and divers say HOO YAH !!!

(OOH RAH is a Marine Corps thing)

I Know That!

It was my way of showing Respect! We always give each other these instead of High Fives! Remember the Corps was my last stop in uniform! Least wise in New Braunfels we do.

Rest easy Commander, you more than earned it, but way to soon.

Proves the old adage..the good die young.

May he rest in peace. He has more than earned that. He was a great man and very well respected and admired. Fair winds and following seas. HOO -YAH. He will be sadly missed by all.
