Happy belated Birthday Steve!!!
Cool balloon!
And cool kit, not much of a Ford guy but that is a cool looking car and I agree with MM you can't go wrong with Tamiya!

Happy birthday
Nick.
Thanks guys
Steve
Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Happy belated birthday Steve. Sorry, I'm slacking on the forums!
That's a nice Ford GT40 you got. The latest Tamiya news is that a 1/24 McLaren Senna will be out shortly.
“Ya ya ya, unicorn papoi!”
FedEx brought this in today. I’ve been wanting this kit for awhile and found one for a good price on eBay...
F is for FIRE, That burns down the whole town!
U is for URANIUM... BOMBS!
N is for NO SURVIVORS...

Nice Carlos. That one begs for a diorama.
Thanks,
John
Meant to say in my other post!
I got to touch the Ford as there was one roped off and displayed at BlueBonnet Ford here in New Braunfels ,TX. Don't laugh! There's more Bentleys, Rolls Royces, Lambos and Ferraris in this little Burg than you can shake a stick at. Teslas too! Twice as many KIA Souls, too!
keavdog Nice Carlos. That one begs for a diorama.
Thanks John. I have no idea of a diorama setting for a 5-ton. Aside from occasionally riding in one that was hauling more troops than a deuce from point A to point B, I never saw what the 5-ton‘s role was up at HHC.
I remember when that one came out back in the mid-90's. They were releasing all kinds of interesting things that no one else touched.

God, Family, Models...
At the plate: 1/48 Airfix Bf109 & 1/35 Tamiya Famo
On deck: Who knows!
Mopar Madness I remember when that one came out back in the mid-90's. They were releasing all kinds of interesting things that no one else touched.
Yup! Trucks, AMTRACs, Self Propelled Artillery, Italian stuff.... lots of unique stuff!
Is that the new Tamiya Pz IV GS, how's it look.
I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so
On the bench: Airfix 1/72nd Harrier GR.3/Fujimi 1/72nd Ju 87D-3
Bish Is that the new Tamiya Pz IV GS, how's it look.
Good to know. I'd love one of those new Panzer IV's.
I have the newer Dragon versions of Pzkfw IV ausf F as well as the older, but still, good Italarei kits. Wow, remember those? Italerei, fun spelling them, you could do three versions in one kit! Aside from a few minor issues, they were great kits. It was 1974 or so. I had just gotten my first apartment and my senior year in college. Fun times! Anyway, back to the subject. I'll probably put this on the list, why not? I'm a sucker for Tamiya models. No, I haven't forgotten the new Border model kits. I only have gotten their G version so far.
Thanks GS. I did see it on the back of the latest FSM, and noted that about the lower hull. I am with you on the tow cables, and i think those headphones are a Tamiya trademark.
I bought the Puma first but couldn't stop.
Nice, the full set. I don't have any of those yet, deffinetly nee to add more wheeled to my German stash.
They're just too unique to pass up. I was always impressed with the Puma since I was a lad. Had the Matchbox kit back in the early 80's. If I remember correctly it wasn't that bad a kit.
My favorite is the /3. Like the Sd.Kfz 233 i got recently, its the same gun and siilar set up to the 251/9 Stummel and thats my favorite 251. But like you i have all 4 of those Dragon 234's on my to buy list.
Ohhhhhh more nice stuff!!! Love the giant T-35 Greysnake and the pack 'o Pumas MM!
Oh you guys are getting some real goodies!
Grey, the T-35 is one that really appeals due to its land dreadnaught look!
Chad, the whole 234 family? Sweet!
Went to the mailbox to retrieve what I thought would be the box from the Secret Santa Group Build, but also found that my latest order from HLJ arrived the same day. While I don't know what's in the Sprue Brother's box, I can share what I got from HLJ. The first brings me closer to getting the aircraft to finish my 111th FIS build. The Kinetic MQ-9 Reaper has decals for the 147th ATKW based out of Ellington Field, Houston, TX. Just need a P-80 and a F-101B and I'll have all the aircraft in the stash. Will need to make decals for the P-80.
The second is the 1/24 Fujimi Porsche 911 Carrera RSR Turbo #22 which placed 2nd overall in the 1974 Le Mans. Bought the kit because I've developed a thing for Martini themed race cars.
The third kit is the Aoshima/Beemax Porsche 935 K2 with markings for either of the Vaillant cars. Unlike the K3, they didn't include window masks for this particular kit. This kit will eventually become the Interscope 935K2, which would win the 24 Hours of Daytona in 1979. I may have to get another one because I really like the green Vaillant car.
Now if the decals I ordered from Wolfpack six weeks ago would get here.
Buddy- Those who say there are no stupid questions have never worked in customer service.
Ahhh don't tell my wife
Aw, those are cool guys! Love the Lorna TJ!
Buddy, I LOVE that Martini racer.
TJ - You can store that 110 at my place if needed!
Got this for a reasonable price on a facebook forum - decals are toast but I found a guy on ebay that makes them. Always wanted these two since I was a kid - wanna talk about ejector pin marks!!!
I remember seeing that on the store shelves way back when!
