Rarely seen, yes.  But not fabled.  I can only speculate how it would have performed with that plexi nose cap and non area ruled fuselage.  Perhaps like many 1950s prototypes, it would have just hit the "sonic wall" and remained stubbornly subsonic.

TB, it's the Huma kit in 1/72.  But I think Huma is long gone.  Crying

Yeah, RealG!

That would be my luck, BUT, some good pictures or drawings and I could scratch it! And the TreibFlugel could be a Volunteer!

TB,

If you ever want to build the DFS-346, I can scan the 3-view off the instruction sheet.  I tend to keep them for some reason.  And there are photos on the Internet, but most are of models or illustrations.  There are a few actual photos of it hanging from a Tu-4.

Eugene,

Sorry I have to end this one so quickly - it's a 1/48 scale Junkers Ju-287.   The '287 is a fan favorite of mine.  The 1/72 Huma kit is shown below.

Yes!  Pretty sure I got the Cutty Sark as well - still working on the 4 engine dude.

Here's mine - ignore the big ugly mitts ;)

Hi Real G!

Yeah. That would be nice. You can E-Mail them to gjgeracci846@gmail.com if you want. I certainly would love to add to what I call my "Weird" aircraft group. I even chopped a VolksWagen and a Piper years ago to do the "Aerocar" as proposed in  "Mechanix Illustrated". I don't know where the model of the body has gotten to but I still have the wings and trailer rack!

At present I have two modified speed boat hulls Drying. Well, they're dry but they've been back burnered for now, I aim to build a model of one of the High Speed Ferries as used on the VOLGA in the Soviet Union.
