“I built the HobbyBoss 1/72 scale ‘Dora’ because it was an
interesting subject and quite large,” Scott says. He used Testors Model Master
and Humbrol paints along with Tamiya and other assorted weathering pastels.
Bare-Metal Foil matte aluminum worked nicely for the main gun’s recoil
sections, he said. “This was 110 hours of pure enjoyment,” says Scott.
