Indeed, nice! I did one of those. Spent more time filling and sanding the poor seams than anything else on that bird. I'm quite proud of it, though. My wife commented how she liked them, so I got one and built if for her. It's on display in her hobby room. Gene Beaird, Pearland, Texas

Thank you.  We were not the bullseye, but with a storm as big as it was, that didn't matter much.  Luckily, it was just a tropical storm when it settled in for a stay in our neighborhood.  We got a TON of rain, around 45" in just a few days.  It's the first time our home ever got water in it.  Luckily, again, it was only about 1/4", but enough to mess up carpet and walls.  The carpet is gone (we only had one room with it anymore), and the wet drywall has been removed.  Waiting for things to dry before re-hanging drywall.

Unfortunately, with all the work, any time at the bench is on semi-permanent hiatus.  The room with the carpet was the room most of my unassembled kits were stored.  Once the flooring is down, they'll be going back in on a wire shelving unit on wheels.  So, not all's lost.

Gene, sorry to hear about that - good luck with the repairs! templar - awesome work on the Apache! Did you build it OOB? I have one in the stash (old Monogram release) so I was wondering if you put any AM into it.

templar,

Sir that is sharp looking!! That is a wonderful looking build. I wish you would have done a WiP on this build. Very nicely done YesYes The photos were fine...maybe a light blue for the background next time might help.
