Super Seasprite 1/72
Posted by Allan Ingpen on Friday, September 20, 2019 8:09 AM

Super Seasprite- from the old Airfix kit in 1/72. Scratch built engines, aerials, winch, left front door (original got wshed down the drain when I did a pre-build wash) and other bumps and stuff on it.

Markings- colourful ones from my box of tricks. (Clever way of saying - no idea, they had some colour, and I have no Australian or New Zealand markings).

Also was first time using an airbrush. Cool tool.

That's a very nice model! Some really neat and clean scratchbuilding here.

Poland also has a few of the newest Seasprites - we got them together with the old O.H. Perry ships. They also can be quite colorful:

What I would like to build is an older version of the Seasprite - a -B or -C version. The problem is almost all of them have been rebuilt as newer versions and thre are almost no references...

Thanks for sharing and have a nice day
