I have 2 Huey kits, not sure which one I'll do, the Monogram 1/24 one, and the old Revell 1/32. I like both badges the same.

I'm in

I'm in the middle of a 1/35 huey Dio and the " BUDGET" gb. I have a 1/32 old revell uh-1h in line so I'll hold off until I have a Clear bench. That should be some time in August.

I like the second badge

Thank Aaron, I appreciate the offer. It will be a little while before I actually get started on this build. But I will let you know.

By January I should be free, so I'll plan on at least one, maybe a couple.

Roadkill I've got an Italeri UH1C I'm going to do (finish actually) as a Seawolf, it includes decals, I need mine but let me know if you can't find any, I could probably scan them so you could print a set.

Well, Ok then thoe are the rules.
ewc2003, if you can make one that would be great. I'll also try to make one, I'm slowly getting better.I will be building italeris 1/72 UH-1B huey. With no finish date I will probably build a Huey Hog, or another italeri kit. I will put a post in the group build forum sometime during the last week of July.

Ok guys, tell me what you think of these rules.

1. NO finish date
2. Cut of date for joining January 1st 2005.
3. Hueys and huey variants only.
4. any scale
5. OOB, PE, Aftermarket are all fine.
6. Start August 1st.

how does that sound? give me some feedback, good bad, just ok etc.

I've got a 1/35 scale uh-1b started that just begging to be finished (120 AHC), I think this would be a great way to force me to finish it. If there is a due date of Mid November or early December - then you can count me in.

If there is no finish date, I wouldn't mind joining, I have so many projects going now, and so little time, but if there aint a finish date, sounds cool. Make take me a few years tho. LOL, I have a Batmobile I've been working on for 3 or 4 years or maybe longer now. I do love the Huey tho.

An open door GB: sounds very interesting!
I could make my 1/72 AB412 (four bladed huey) or maybe even start converting panda's 1/35 UH-1N to the AB412.
I'll let you know next week.

Is there a deadline for joining? If there isn't go ahead and count me in with Monograms UH-1C. If I can find the decals for it I'll build it as a Seawolf.

If I wasn't involved in 5 other GBs I would jump all over this one. When were you thinking of starting this? If it was in November or December I would have no problems. Of course things could change as I'm thinking of dropping out of a couple of the GBs I'm in.

Could give me a good reason to build a 1/72nd Bell 212 Israeli Anafa using Italeri's UH-1N kit though I also have a couple of other GB commitments to keep before I can get involved with this build.

Cheers,

The Monogram Huey Hog is still available and I do believe that there are aftermarket accessories made just for this kit. I'll have to get back to you on who makes them and where they're available.
As for the group build... I've joined others in the past and haven't finished one of them. I'm out.

Depending on when you plan to do it, then yes. I'm a bit committed (or should be) at the moment with other group builds but I could be persuaded so long as I don't have to finish it before the end of Sept.
