Well, what do you think? This is my first attempt at a badge. Got the picture along with many others from the Boeing Apache website. Pretty simple but I like it for now and it's the kit I'm building. Big Smile [:D]

Very nice! Good use of the logo, simple color scheme (with a SW Native American feel to it) and smart image treatment - not the usual "in action" shot. Sometimes simple is the way to go!

Actually Jason, they're BOTH good Big Smile [:D]

Jon (cobrahistorian),

How do we get the attention of admin so that we can make the GB official and put into the "Helicopter GB's sticky" link? I think we seem to have things pretty much set.

Hey guys,

Sorry, been at drill all day. I'll email the moderator and get us up as a sticky. No question about this group anymore!

Sweet badge, Trigger. Is that pic from Operation Prime Chance/Earnest Will?

I don't think it's "better" Jason, it's just a different solution to the requirement!

Ok guys, I couldn't wait. I needed a break from writing my thesis, so I've been working on my AH-64D conversion. Just spent 2 hours on the sensor turret mount. I've posted some pics in the GB forum of my progress so far. I'm going to include this one in the GB, but will start my next A model (one of the gray ones!) on 1 Jan so I'm within the rules. Modelling certainly is better than writing academically!

I think I will join the build, using Monogram's reissued AH-1G Cobra. Where can I get a group badge for the Cobra?
