Hey Fellas, Here is a small update...had a little trouble with building 2, and had to redo most of the facade..the main reason for a long stretch between updates...I also threw in a couple of perspective shots, with figs, to give you a better idea of what the hell is going on...nothing is finished and needs alot of work to be....hope I get some time soon!!!! Thanks for looking and the comments so far!
~Hey Stern--thanks for the update--its never too late I love the look of that bomb-blasted wall-pretty good destruction man. Alot of imagination going on with this its gunna be a crackerjack dio

Just viewing this for the first time today. Man, that is some nice work! Looking forward to watching this become a finished dio!

INDY and Chris, thank you guys for the kind words....this baby is slow going...hope to have more up soon!
Looking really good so far. can't wait to see it unfold
My Photo Album
Many thanks OO...will get another update up soon!
Mna, this looks good. Mabe I out to give diorama building a shot one day (or at least attempt building a bombed-out structure of somesort...)
Red, White, and YOU! group build of 2010
Give it Go Railfan....this was my first building attempt, all else has been a landscape of some sort. enjoying it alot when I have the time..thanks for looking and the kind words.
Another update for you guys...worked on building #3 and a crappy attempt at terracotta tiles. Had a roof question, but just one fine soul replied (thanks Dave!) So I am going with singles and/or terracotta across the boards...hopefully the tehnique I used improves...Nothing is finished and have a long way to go, thanks for looking!

Stern0 and a crappy attempt at terracotta tiles.
and a crappy attempt at terracotta tiles.
Nope, I refuse to beleave the above about the tiles. That is probably the best I've seen so far, and there's no way I could even come close to doing something like that.
Nothing you say can change my opinion on the tiles. they are just too good. (I have got to get around to starting a structure of some type soon...)
I love the peel from the ceiling and what's so crappy about the terracota tiles? They look just fine and natural...old terracota roofs weren't that perfect anyway and the uneveness gives it the rustic and old look.
Keep 'em coming.
Thank you guys for looking and you are too kind! The tiles kinda bug me a little because the process was a little bassawkwards...was hard to get the rounded shape because I glued them all down before hand...quite the PITA...I just think they are way to uneven ....thank goodness I use a thick foil, it made it easier to shape...now if I can get paint in all the cracks and crevices..Thanks again guys!!!
I am loving your work especially the tiles and peeling ceiling! Don't change anything... looking forward to see the end.
Andy
Much appreciated Andy..thanks for checking it out, comming slowly but surely..thanks again!
Great work on the interior of these buildings. The attention to detail is definitely paying off in this scene.

Much appreciated Steve....nowhere close to your epic work! you're a great source of inspiration! Thanks for looking!
Hey fellas!
Another small update, been even slower than usual. have taken the time to add a little ruble and debris to building one and two and a roof for building one...the rubble will look a little better once finished and painted. Also a little work on the exterior of building three...thanks for looking and the helpful feedback!
Wow, this looks really cool, and BIG! I like what you are doing with the roofs. This is gonna be awesome for sure when painted up.
Thanks Steve, it's has gotten a little out of control as far as the size....started out as one structure! The roofs were a pain and I'm not so sure if I am that happy with them, maybe it will come together with some paint and weathering, Thanks again for the great feedback!
Here is another rubble update and a added cart...tried to get ruble to look like the building it belongs to....not sure about it yet, all comments and critiqes welcome...Thanks for looking!
Here is a few more pics with some detail added...and a black and white background shot...
BRAVO !!!!!

Detailfreak, Elitemodeling, and Doog...thank you guys for looking and the positive feedback, much appreciated!
Very nice so far! Your attention to the smallest details is really paying off ! Blends right in with teh B&W!
Eric
Many thanks Jester!
Stern0 the details are adding up. to my eye you have even more more dust and debris to add. You can try fine ash from a cigar possibly (please note that I am not encouraging you to smoke it) that kind of thing. A building produces a HUGE amount of dust when it falls down. This is looking really good. Keep it coming.
