Tiking
What do you think?
The grunge is just right. You probably need an air compressor and several tools about. Some buckets, cans, etc. with waste fluids (esp. hydraulic) lurking about.
Minor detail, thouse tracks rund to close to a quarter ton, and get moved with a forklift or excavator, so, they are left as 'flat' as possible, on a theory of "move as few times as possible." IIRC, new tracks come in heavy crates of no more than about ten each.
Roller maintence is a routine thing at this level of maintenace, too. But the only way to get them loose is to hammer out the axle pin with a great big hammer and a lot of profanity, so they ought to be hollow. On an excavator, like my old Kubota, it was a toss up on pulling the bearings out or just biting the bullet for a whole new roller. On a D9, those are going to be pull the bearings and replace them. Unless the axle is sn happen).
Another tiny detail, the blade lift cylinders need the center lift pin installed--you have to dismount them from the machine to get at the top cap to get them out (don't ask me how I know this, sigh). You can unbolt the blade from the bottom, it wants being on blocks to support it, then, when you pull the hinge pins, you back the dozer out from inside the yoke.
I'll try and find out if the armored cab, which knocks down to either four or five pieces mounts to the ROOPS mounts or not.
The safety harnesses are a nice touch. The array of "stuff" all happening at once is right, too.
Well, dang it, MiniArt used to have rolling tool chests which would be ideal for this, but I can't find the link for them.
