[XX], what can i say that hasn't been said. Man, I tell u what, you need to go to Hollywood and take over! I am in the process of gathering the stuff 4 my first dio and i thought "this gonna be pretty cool lookin'". Now, I am beginning to think maybe I better not post anything, what a joke compared to yours!!! LOL, just kidding, if nothing else you have given me inspiration to go that "extra mile"! And b'lieve me it would have to be at least a mile to even get close to you. This ain't one of those "feel good" posts, you are dang good! Man, I would love to pick your brain! LOL. Hello,

Yesterday, it was the first time that I I tested the techniques of painting used by the armor specialists.

There's still a lot of work before obtaining the same result !! Big Smile [:D]

I've got a new digital camera, so, it's a good opportunity to test it on my dio.

I have to work on the hoist as well as on handwheels to complete the job on the workshop gantry crane.

I intended to simulate it but for the moment I didn't find the solution !! Sad [:(]

For the bricks I just used self-hardening pottery clay.

I agree that the bricks look good, and I'd be curious to know how you did them. However, at this scale, and especially since you can tell that they are individual bricks, there should be some indication of mortar between them. I'm certainly not going to suggest that you get a 1/48 trowel and butter them individually (!), but you might have wanted to consider spraying the top of each brick with a light gray color (or something) to hint at the mortar.

All of this intended as constructive criticism, so feel free to ignore.

Hello,

I've decided to have a short break with bricks Big Smile [:D]

and to concentrate on a workshop gantry crane as well as on a manual winding drum.

Has someone an idea where to find a good picture of a chain hoist of WWII I can suspend under the crane ? Approve [^]

Hello everybody,

just few pics of the frontage (quite finished Big Smile [:D]

).
I've used black pigments as well as ochre and brow pigments in order to to make the hangar more decayed.
Now, I have to do the same job on the side wall as well as inside the hangar .
