The decals may have given you some problems, but overall your Blackbird looks very sharp! The distance shot shows the beauty without revealing the flaws. Wink

I have been fascinated of late with the SR-71.  Lots of great pilot interviews on youtube worth watching.  So I got the old Revellogram 1/72 and gave it a whirl.  My goal was a quick stress free build.  Mission accomplished.  No OCD in this build.  That said after being happy with the paint job, I should have gotten aftermarket decals.  The Revell supplied decals are terrible.  But from 5 feet it looks OK.

Revells newer auto kits are really nice.  This is the 2019 release Land Rover Series III LWB. EDIT: Better pics

Wow reminds me of Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. Really nicely done, looks real!

In the pattern: Scale Shipyard's 1/48 Balao Class Sub! leaning out the list...NOT! Ha, added to it again - Viper MkVii, 1/32 THUD & F-15J plus a weekend madness build!

I finally finished "restoring" my Monogram FW-190.  Like some others, it's been sitting in a box for 50 years awaiting the day I would pull it out and work on it.  Broken parts were fixed with a lot of putty and the windscreen was replaced with cut out clear plastic (easier than I thought).  The first photo shows the condition of the model prior to repair (as you can see I have a few more to go).

Thanks for looking!

Just put this up over in a/c...my first ever Mossie, the old Mono 1/48 gem done up as a 'night intruder' with Aeromaster 'Mosquito Raiders V' decals.

Just finished the old 1/48 P47D kit in the "Pied Piper" version. The Squadron In Action (#208) has a picture of it on page 21. Assigned to the 310th FS, 58th FG at San Jose AB on Mindoro Island, late 1944. Has that faded war weary look.

Tried to stay true to the kit, only changes were brass tubing for guns, tape to accent the molded in safety belts, and a wire pitot tube.

A fun build, I attempted this kit when I first got back into the hobby. Butchered it pretty badly, so it was nice to finish the kit (not the one I started!) and put it on display.

Nice looking Harrier, Nick! The paint and weathering look fantastic. How did you do the vent openings? Cut or aftermarket? I have the old Airfix kit, trying to decide what to do. Joe

Now this is Art! Gorgeous work!

I love how the nose looks almost transparent and that is some excellent effects! The usage if tarps to cover the transparent parts gaps is simple, yet very effective.

Top Notch!
