DoogsATX

Cyber-Hobby's E4. Less than the Eduards. Most accurate in shape. Arguably the best detailed. Apparently good fit.

Thanks Doogs!

Looked around for the Cyber model but the ones going for a good deal were sold out.. Ordered up a Trumpeter 1/32 BF109E.. Comes with all the goodies too!

The Tamiya model is pretty much done now, when I get a chance I will post a pic.

Handi- you seem to be making a decent model out of the Trumpy kit anyway. Plugin away on my G-10. Decals came the other day from Poland...Long wait...and I'm about ready to attach canopy and prime. Here's the latest shot with all the goodies including Eagle Cals resin spinner and Eduard Masks. Anyone know if the G-10 had the battery box protruding on the rear bulkhead? I know the G-14 did and any 109 with the MW-50 water methanol injection did, but my refs are poor as far as G-10 cockpits go...Randy are you leaving yours on?

Got that basterd on my "hunt list" for ModelFiesta tomorrow! 32nd scale's usually hit or miss at the shows I've been to, but knowing my intention to get in and out with only a few purchases, they'll probably end up having every single one I'm looking for (109F-4, 190D-9, Ki-84, P-40N...)

On the Bench: 1/32 Trumpeter P-47 | 1/32 Hasegawa Bf 109G | 1/144 Eduard MiG-21MF x2

Spruebrothers shows it has one Cyber-Hobby 109E-4 in it's current inventory.

I'd snag it but already have Trump's version in the stash.  I remember this review pointing out three major inaccuracies, but claim they can be easily fixed.  Review

Jack

Been following along and really digging the great work on display so far, enough in fact to finally pull the trigger on a 1/48 Zvezda F-2 (yeah, I know it's not a bipe, but there was a time when 109's were all I built, and it looks like the bug has bit me again). The reviews I've read made it too nice a kit to pass on, so instead of my original entry, I'll be building the Zvezda kit (markings TBD).

Geez Handi, wish I could have my paint turn out like that! Ok just as a heads up my models are ok, so no need to think your dealing with a fellow pro, more like a guy who just has fun building these things.

Though I can say my models would take first place if I compete against those in elementary school...

as long as your happy with your work, that's all that matters.

Doogs- the hase F-4 literally builds itself. only thing i opted for was aftermarket decals.

i was going to snag eduards 1/48 E-1 today but snagged a hase's new reboxed Mk.IIc hurricane. been looking for one for awhile.  E-1 next on the list.

Does Squadron make a vacuform one? The Erla canopy shouldn't be too hard to deal with. Or have you considered robbing one from a Hasegawa kit. Some boxings contain both an Erla and the three piece canopy. I'd send you one but It looks like I dont' have any left.

I'm not sure any of the squadron ones would work for the revell ,,, mabye a bit of tinkering?  Nathan I loved the cockpit shots of your bird!  It motivated me to add the fuel line in mine,,was yours oob or aftermarket,,either way looks great!!  Can't wait to see more progress bud!  Cool

Thanks Handi, the cockpit I used is MDCs resin set. Where is the Gap in your canopy? Are you posing it open?

Well...not going to get started for a few days yet, probably, but I got the Airfix kit soaked and ready to go today.

And I'm finally ready to reveal the markings. Swiss Neutrality!

That's gonna be some fun masking...Tongue Tied

Progressing on the Hasegawa 109.  The only fit problem was on the bottom of the cowl.

More pics to come

Don't know.  It's the one with Werner Moelders on the box art.

I didn't build these but they were at the San Antonio show.
