Looking good! Inspiring me to pull mine out!
Wow nice job man! I built the Monogram DC3 kit and after spending a week detailing the interior I put the fuselage together and went "hmm" can see anything.
Thanks for the kind comments guys.
lawdog114 - What I do is brush a tan color first making sure that there are brush strokes. When that is dry I do the same thing with a darker brown.
I'll post another update tomorrow

Looking great! Nice job simulating wood. Care to share your technique?
"Can you fly this plane and land it?...Surely you can't be serious....I am serious, and don't call me Shirley"
It's a pity alright that your interior detailing won't be seen. That's a pretty good job you did on the interior by the way. I like the way you did the wooden seats and the individual seatbelts. Show us some more of the build.
I got this kit from a friend of mine about a month ago and got some motivation to build it after going the Minnesotat History Center and doing the C-47 D-Day simulator. I am going to build this OOB because the kit is pretty nice. I put a drop of Future on all the instruments. Its unfortunate that most of the interior will not be seen after going through all that work to paint eveything.
More pics soon (If I get anything else done)
Thanks for looking
