What's your recipe, when mixing Celluclay?  I find it necessary to add some white glue to it, and I also learned to make sure to spread it evenly, so it cures evenly, to avoid curling at the edges.

Pfennig needs to chill out: Perhaps you can take him on a nice vacation to the Hawaiian island of Kauai or something.

Ah Chuck!  The work is looking quite nice on the Kubel there and the plane is great as usual!

On another note, My FLHS got in their order of the 2 new HK B-17 kits.  Mine was set back for me and the other walked right out the door as they came in.  As I am moving at the moment, I didn't go ahead and pick it up, but did take a look see and let others around have a view.

On looking thru the instruction book lo and behold there is a LARGE thank you note to all the test builders and of course your name was on the list too.

Can't wait to get this move done, (I hate packing!) so that I can go pick up my kit and thoroughly check it out!

Just throwing this out there Chuk, I'd love to see what you would with a 1/48 B-17. Especially, if, say you were to back date the monogram G to a late B-17F, I would follow the hell out of that thread! Hint, hint!!!!!!

Thanks, guys!  I've been poking along on the figures, and have a few corrections to make on the jeep, but it'll get done soon.  I have to write up a review of the HK big B-17 (wow, what a kit!), and then I'll be building the Icaerodesign IAR 81 C in 1/48.  Can't wait to start it!

That looks like a good starter for your talented tweaks and additions.

But don't forget to put the oil in the engine of this one, be a shame to score a cylinder after all this work
