Thanks Saf816.....the colors are from Saudi Air Force F-16 block 60 with a US Air force decals ........the colors are light gray (Tamiya AS-16) spray can and Tamiya acrylics(XF-19) bottled paint
Amazing paint job...love the color choice. I am currently starting my build of the Sufa. Do you mind what exact colors did you use for your paint scheme ?
Fantastic build.
Lost count Dean30 after a month of putting the beast together my focus went to another hobby ....every now & then i go back to add/work (finishing stuff) ......same goes to all my 1/32's every time i see/read other post here in the forums it makes want to improve my fleet ;)
That is nothing short of superb, that standard is absolutely brilliant, how long did it take you to make?
Man, I just love. Nuff said!!
Eric
Absolutely magnificent, impressive, spectacular... I could say more, but you get the idea.
Update on the Sufa.........
the 2 (pilot)figures are not yet painted.......and still need some weathering works
Dude, this is one freakingly awesome Sufa!!!
If I were to rate the Academy sufa kit from 1-10 ......I'd say its a 9 good enough to go head to head with a Tamiya or Hasegawa kit, they did improve in quality and the plastic are much cleaner(no need to wash them prior to building) fit wise......still has some gap and warping but in a manageable level ....they included a lot of optional parts/loads ......the only after market parts i added was the metal landing gear and a resin wheel set
That is a fantastic looking model, really excellent work, I have a question, is it a good kit? Fit wise etc? I would like to make the Sufa that's why I ask.
Just awesome!! Very sharp and clean Bimski!
here's more.........
Thanks gents. .......back again after a week break had my *** set on another hobby .......anyways did some minor paint correction on the nose cone and had to machine a brass (micro) antenna to match the other 2
a much better photo lighting this time
That's looking great!
Can't wait!!
with wheels .....
next to be added .......drop tanks and weapon loads
Sharp Viper!!
@VTmodeldude28........it was a full time work 40 hours on the bench ......still need work on the weapon loads/600gal tank i'm hoping to make an interchangeable load on the wing using mini magnets.... that should add another month of work :)
On the bench:
1. Eduard 1/48 Mig-21 MF
2. Tamiya 1/35 M41 Walker Bulldog
3. Tamiya 1/35 T-72 M1
Almost near the end of conversion.......here's how she look after putting a lot of bench hour this weekend.....enjoy :D
update..........Finished paint work
a single coat of clear paint will help ease the decal application

I'm really digging the detail work on this... good stuff!
@dupes that's a bargain .....conversion kit usually priced 50$+ and up....not to mention the 2 conforming tanks that runs around same price
Ambitious, but awesome! I managed to find the Isracast F-16F conversion for this kit cheap at Squadron...got it for about 25 bucks on Black Friday.

I may pick up another Kinetic kit to do in US markings but there is just something about a Viper in Israeli airforce colors that just looks sweet!
