Looks really good, Jan.  I like the camo.  Did you build it out of the box?  Any improvements?

Yes Watchman: all out of the box. For a 1972 is was pretty good.

Cheers,

How did you do the camo? Masking or freehand?

Cool build.

I did mask the cnopy, turretsand nose windows. the pattern was done freehand based on a scheme at Wings Palette. Note that 1940 was the last year that the italians used season camouflage. What you see here is the summer scheme, however maintained in autumn and winter 1040-1941.

Two tones of green are quite rare on italian WWII a/c.

jan

I see your "G-1" signature: so I take it you are Dutch? So am I!

Never ceases to amaze me what a skilled builder like yourself can accomplish in 1/72nd. Looks great, I also very much like the camo work.

Interesting aircraft, btw.

Thank you kindly Greg, though I still have a lot to learn... But what counts is that it's all fun.

Cheers,

jan

That looks really great. I recently found an old Supermodel boxing, but it's on the shelf.

Very nice!

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

Thank you. The italeri-kit is the same and stems from the same tool. It's a nice kit to build, though the dorsal turret and the nose are tricky.

Cheers,

jan
