Ken, I was at an airshow near Dyersburg, TN, where they had a B-17 training base in WWII. Got some pics of some of the birds that were featured in the museum; I need to get that Monogram kit out of the closet....

Hi everyone, I haven't made much headway on the 17, and so I haven't been able to post any pics. They should be coming soo. Then I won't be on page 4 here LOL

Thanks

One of these days I'll get the guts to build the one I have had in the stash since 1990. I love these birds alot and hope to do one justice one day. Nice work so far greentracker....Yes

Thanks Mustang

It's not a question of guts. All it takes is to get it out dust it off and look inside the box. When yoiu do that, you'll know what to do

Brandon, there isn't any official start date, or any official end date, so, take your time. It will be great to see what and how your doing then.

I like doing the tarmac bound even though they take up more space in my apt.

Ugh, I have two I want to build. One as a flyer and one as tarmac bound. I have the Revell and the Revell/Monogram clear version; both in 1/48. I have tons of AM parts to replace nearly everything and take it off the chart with detail. But, alas those two are down my list of builds at the moment and not likely to begin before next year. Otherwise, I'd be all over this with you. Post your build though, I want to see it.

This my build of a B-17G Anyone who wants to join is more than welcome. It doesn't have to be a B-17. I'll keep it of bombers any scale, any era. As long as it's a bomber, it fits.

I had to get another kit, as the open box kit I had was missing a bunch of parts.

So here goes
