Would love to get in on this GB, will let you know what kit after I return from the sandbox.  If memory serves, I have a RoG G6 (the new kit), RoG K-4, a Hasa G-14 (with a ton of goodies, had planned on completely opening that one up) and maybe a couple of others.  Looking forward to this build, since this is my second favorite German Aircraft (behind the 190 of course)!

Thanks, guys. The K-4 seems really well put together, from what I can tell. I hope to get to one of them sooner than later. The Hartmann bird. It's towards the top of my personal wish list for builds.

Looks like we have some similar tastes Tom. The same CH E-4, same F-4Trop and same Hase G-6, though I only have the one. And those 3 mean I have more 32nd 109's than any other types, even Stuka's

Ok, I've had a change of heart. I've decided to not build my Tamiya kit for this but instead I found and ordered a Zevezda 109- F4. Apparently its a really super nice kit. 1/48. I am wanting to do something super nice for this GB and this thing has over 200 pieces and is supposed to be the most accurate 109 ever built. We'll see about that. But anyway, that's where I stand now.

sweet choice. Just get some aftermarket decals though. 

Man after the way that folks were crankin out the 190's in the Butcher Bird GB, I can only imagine what will take place in a 109 GB!!

Thanks Tom... We'll find out soon enough! LOL...As I said, lots of talent in this show and I like it that way, If you win, It makes you feel you've really done something. Show usually draws about 75 to 100 builders, in various classes.

Thanks guys, Joe R , I hope your right, There is usually some stiff compitition at the show. Many talented builders here, the show covers almost any type of build from figures to braile build and much inbetween. The toughest brackets are aircraft and armor.

Joe (M) the "running prop" is cut from clear acetate sheet. Depending on how heavy you want, alot of goods are sold in these types of packaging, You know, thost clear plastic sonic welded containers you cuss trying to get open? LOL... This piece was from Hobby Lobby, They sell in sheets about 2'x3' and its a tad thin but works quite  well. I just lay out the prop blades and the impeller hub, measure with a compass, scribe on the sheet and carefully cut out, Thay make a tool for doing this but I'm just as happy doing this way.

Well as I said the kit itself cost about $24 bucks and for the money, IMHO is a damn nice kit. Well thanks again for letting me post these before the build starts and of course... this should not be considered part of the build. Take care all!

Afternoon all... Joe, These pictures are of the kit for the Model Show coming up at Hobby Town the 11th of October. This of course is not part of the 109 build and I was going to but decided there was no time for WIP pictures, sorry. I will be away all of next week and will not be able to do any building so I had to finish this weekto be ready for the show. With that being said here are the pictures and Thanks for allowing them to be posted here.

This is the kit I selected for the build and even thou I also bought sone Eduard PE for it, you really dont need it. It is a very well supplied and detailed kit and other then some AM decals if desired to change the Group and staffle it would build very nicely OOB. There were a butt load of optional parts left over which come in handy for other projects. For example, You have the option to do the standard tail or the taller wooden tail. I chose the taller wooden option.

Oh... it does not include a pilot, I had to rob this one from a stash kit.As I stated earlier these are not the decals that came with the kit, I chost to do an aircraft of VI/Jg53 flying out of Italy in 1944.
