Eduard is good about sending replacement parts.  I was missing one tiny exhaust tube and they sent me the entire sprue/matrix.  It took about a month so order one soon if you can't find it.

..a little (minor/major) disaster here.

Had the front of the cockpit temp. secured with maskol. removed it and placed it in a safe tub prior to varnishing. Now I find it minus one of the side panel windows.

No vacuuming around my table until further notice!!

I really like how this turned out. I need to get brave and go for a kit with the mottled camo but I'm afraid it may be cringe worthy. Great job!

  Back from my European jaunt.

 Just done some dot-filtering - first attempt and rather good i think it has turned out. Obviously still glossed but should look even better once matt coated.

 Tail fins worked on the sprue. Guaranteed they would have broken had I decalled/wethered on the aircraft.

Main camo on and mottling begun. A couple of little areas where the RLM76 meets the RLM75 need a touch up.

I have a "broken" airbrush that has the tip of the needle accidently snapped off. I discovered that it is now perfect for mottlng - it only allows a little pressure through an gives a nice "splodge"

A bit of advice too late now but, a trick on the nacelles I found on a French forum, a guy trimmed off some of the leading edge of the wing where the nacelle attaches to, allowing the nacelle to be pushed farther back on the wing, making the gaps not near as wide. You just have to be careful of where you cut so you don't cut into the bottom wheel well where it is visible. I wish I saved the link...

They seem to be the Achilles heel of Eduard's 110 kits.  I wish they would have made the seam where the manifolds are.   I spent a week trying to make mine presentable.  The gap on the bottom part of the nacelle was so bad I thought it was deliberate to allow for flap movement.  If you scale it up it comes out to about 8 inches wide on mine!  

On other sites I've seen them use milliput for the bottom gap claiming that regular filler could not span the void.

 yeah...here's some progress on the upper surface. This was the least problematic area.

Nose on, not a major drama. Just a little filling and sanding.

Also some work on the undercarriage. A little held back as my airbrush is kaput and I am awaiting a new one through the post.

Fuselage together. Lots of work in spite of it being a "weekend" kit. Obviously weekends are longer in the Czech Republic.

Nice work so far.  I built the C when it first came out.  The fit of the nose is tricky if your closing it up.  The fit of the engine nacelles is horendous too.  Stock up on sandpaper, you'll need itThis guy did a bang up job on his....

Quick test-fit of fuselage/cockpit and it all goes together very nicely indeed. Just a few extra bits to fit in the rear cockpit position.

Watching this one too.  I have the 110D profipack on the bench right now. It's a great kit but one of the most challenging I've ever worked on.  Looking forward to this!
