What do you mean by "cross overs would be okay"?
hogfanfs Yeah, very true, but I figured after the "Why aren't civil aircraft interesting" thread, it would draw a little more interest.

Yeah, that thread and a couple others that talked about painting airliners.
I'm not pulling the plug, yet. I'll give it a few weeks and hopefully enough peeps will wanna join in. Heck, the airliner kits go together so quickly that you can build them in between other stuff.

So far its not looking good. There are 100+ views and you're the only one who's shown any interest. I figure there should be 5 or 6 people at least to make it worth doing. Hopefully there will be some others out there. The airliner models just aren't that popular.
Hey Fly, I'd be interested. Just purchased a 1/144 777-200!
This might do better in the Airlines and Civilian Aircraft thread.
The bigger the government, the smaller the citizen.
I know there are about a gazzilion +1 GBs either going on now or about to start but it seems like there has been alot of chatter lately about airliner kits (more GB choices is never a bad thing). I myself am just finishing one up now and I've got about 7 more in the stash. I'm eager to start another one. And I know there are a quite a few other builders here who like to model airliners.
It seems like the airliner kits always tend to go together very quickly and are not typically complicated, although the painting and decaling stages can be a bit time consuming.
I'm thinking the criteria would be simple...any airliners / passenger service aircraft from any era. Cross overs would be ok and kits that are completed up to 50% or 60% would be welcome, too. The start date could be any time I suppose but sooner is better I think.
Would there be any interest?
Here are a few that I've done in the last few years. I'd love to see some of yours so feel free to post...and maybe (if any of you are interested) we can get some inspiration going.
