Go Air Force! Welcome Black Optimus. USAF 66-70. My dad was AAC as well. Instructed at Enid Airmy Air Field, Oklahoma. He got a little right seat time in a B-17 at Lowry in 1945. I'll be watching your build. I'm looking forweard to the finished airplane

Go easy on the zinc chromate, wartime B-17G’s were mostly natural metal interior. Current flying warbirds are not good color reference.
