Flying boats are my fav subject and this one is very cool.   I may hafta break down and make this my first Japanese kit.

Very Cool! I have that kit in my stash and every once in a while I give it a glance and consider giving it a whirl. You're off to a nice start and I am looking forward to watching you build up this sweet flying boat.

We shall see!The cockpit is almost devoid of detail but the fuselage halves fit fairly well.(Some bodywork will be necessary to eliminate seams.)
