The spits will almost fall together for you, a really nice kit.

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Do you know the equivalent of Humbrol to Tamiya xf5:1x + xf21:3 + xf 65:1 sorry if it's confusing but that's how it is in the instructions.

That's Tamiya for ya. What area are they referring to? the camo, interior, the underside?

You should be able to use Humbrol RAF Grey Green, or Cockpit Green

That Lancaster looks pretty big. I have one of those on the wish list. Can't wait to see you build it up. I will be watching.

If you haven't made these kits before the spitfires are easy and the Lancaster too, except the engines don't fit without filling and sanding, not too much of an issue, just not something you'd expect from Tamiya especially when the rest is so good.

Nice.  I just started that Mk. Vb kit last night.  I've built many of their MK. Is and one of the MK. V Trop versions.  They are well engineered and you shouldn't have any issues.  One suggestion, dont forget to paint the inside of the lower wing the interior color (ask me how I know this...lol).  I'll be watching your progress.

To inbed your links use the Rich Formatting button at the bottom of the post. Look for the icon that looks like a computer screen (its next to one that looks like a film)

I built that Spit last year. Great kit, but take a look AHEAD of TIME at how the prop and spinner mount to the body. Youll want to be able to easily access the engine area.  And dry fit the exhaust ports. Can you say how much you're earning for these commissioned builds?

Assuming they come upto her expectations £150.00 which I think is great. She's bought the models and paid for the paints, and I get the fun of building them.

Hi all well I dont like Tamiya decals, they are so fragile, and whats the point of seperate white decals under the coloured ones. Need to order some more 1/48 spit decals ruined the ones from the kit.
