Oh boy -
This will be such a fun build to follow, can't until lunch break tomorrow to see the completion, (you are Toshi after all.) (:>)
What will you use for paint? I can't recall if you are using enamel, or have you gone to acrylics by now. This should be something to really keep you busy and show your greatly improved skills, looking forward to seeing lots of photos and WIP reports. Thanks, Buddy.

LOL! Don't eat lunch! LOL! I don't. As for paints, I still have Testors enamel paints in my inventory. So I'm trying to use it up and replace the enamel as I go through these builds. I'm replacing the Testors enamels with Model Master acrylics as well as Tamiya Acrylics. I've also just started to purchase a small amount of Vallejo acrylics as well.
As a example with this build, the whole kit has been sprayed with Tamiya lacquer gray primer and I used Testors metallic silver enamel to paint part of the interior with the rest of the interior painted with Tamiya interior green acrylic. This makes cleaning the AB a difficult situation, I have to use lacquer thinner, enamel thinner, and acrylic cleaner with the later being a lot easier.
As you're more than aware, lacquer and enamel thinner stinks and makes cleaning a chore. Here in Northeast Ohio we will have severe winters starting in a few months lasting for almost 5 months. Using volatile cleaners indoors with the windows closed can be detrimental to everyone's health. Hence my insistence in switching over to acrylics. Your observation is very accurate in regards to the type of paints I'll be using.
You are correct my friend, this build will keep me busy and keep me on my toes. With my "How to build a Spitfire" book, it will challenge my skills with this model. I will definitely have fun while assembling this kit. Ultimately, right or wrong, having fun is what's this hobby and or any hobby is about. That's something I've learned from you sir as well as other forum members. I thank you for that.
Also thank you for following my threads and your inquiries, it's extremely important to me and I highly appreciate it. Replying back as you can read, helps with my cognition. I would like to apologize ahead of time if my writing is or can be not clear at times, I try to continue to do my best in writing my threads as well as building my model kits.

P.S. In regards to paints, preparing for winter, I just purchased a paintbooth. This should and will assist in and with my AB.
