Griffin25

I was just at the bookstore last Sat. and I was looking at a Airfix magazine/book devoted just to this kit. It was in the magazine rack. Go get it! :)

Thank you Griffin25!  Mrs. Toshi went out with my niece to do some shopping.  I'll definitely text here on getting me that magazine!  Once again, thank you.

M. Brindos

my Ki-61 came with a frosted fuselage half that I'm not using. And those uncut masks.... Nice, but c'mon. They couldn't pre-cut those? Everyone else does.

At least the parts fit is phenominal! Really can NOT complain!  :)

Yes, I agree with your comment about the uncut masks.  But, it's just another cool project here for me.  Mrs.  Toshi said; "It's not like I'm in a rush to get someplace.  LOL!  I'm looking forward to the fit and finish of this kit!

This is the set for the bottom of the Merlin's cowling.  There is also a clear albeit a frosted set as well.  I will not photograph the clear/frosted set as it is redundant.

Misc. clear parts and canopy.  This kit comes with masking for the canopy albeit, one must cut out the pieces of which are outlined.  For a kit that costs this much, I would think there would be something similar to an Eduard type mask.

As I assumed, the cowling for the Merlin engines are frosted, hence I will delete both cowlings and build the Mosquito as such.  This will mirror my last build, Trumpeter 1/32 P-38 Lightning.
