Wondered why I hadn't seen anything recently.  Sounds like you've got something to keep busy though.  My problem is still the same:  Keep adding to the stash but little time to build.

Looking forward to seeing your Mossie. I did Airfix's huge 1/24 Mosquito a few years back, and I have Tamiya's 1/48 Mark VI in my stash. I am hoping Tamiya will do a Mark IV of their 1/32 kit as I would like to hang a glass-nosed bomber version next to the fighter-bomber version.

Your movie choices for Easter were a bit curious but at least you picked the scariest and best monster movie that has ever been made (Alien). I hope you enjoyed watching those. And did you know the director of the original movie has made a new one called Alien Covenant, coming out next month?

I too am looking forward to the Mossie build.  Wow, a 1/24 Mosquito.  That sounds very cool!  I didn't know you had the Tamiya 1/48 Mark VI, that will turn out just great.  

 

I wanted to watch for Easter, the Ten Comandments with Charleston Heston.  You know, I once cooked for him at Rancho Las Palmas Marriott in Palm Springs California for him.  I went out to the dinning room to ask if everything was satisfactory to him.  He said; "Chef, that was the greatest meal I'd ever had".  I told him how I was a big fan of his growing up and thanked him.  We shook hands and I left.  I thought that was so cool!

As for the Alien Marathon, I just turned the TV on and there it is, Alien movies!  Unfortunately for me, after Aliens, Mrs. Toshi got sick and tired of watching all that gore so she changed the channel to Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory with Gene Wilder.  There was a marathon on that.  Then all of a sudden, my kids decided to come over, so Easter turned out just great!  

How was your Easter?  I'll be looking forward to Alien Covenant, thanks for the heads up.  But most importantly, I'm very honored that you follow my WIP.  It means very much to me!  Thank you so much!

Our Easter was good time spent with my in-laws, although we seemed to spend too much time on taxes as my wife is a tax accountant and this time of year is really busy for her. Thank you for asking.

Willy Wonka is a better movie than those last two Alien movies (I rank Alien as one of the best 5 ever made but the third and fourth were really disappointing), so that was a great choice also.

I dated Mrs. Toshi for 3 months and asked her if she wanted to move in an apartment with me.  She said sure, as long as you pay all the bills!  LOL!  I told her no problem as I was playing my trumpet with various bands six days a week and sometimes seven days a week.  We were really young and just went for it!  I was making great money traveling with bands and Mrs. Toshi was a waitress at a local restaurant that was popular so she brought in great cash tips!  I also worked as a waiter there and that's how I met Mrs. Toshi!

That's awesome in that you got to watch all eight Star Wars Movies!  I've only seen the six series of Star Wars and never got around to watching the seventh and eight.  The reason for this is that for my birthday, my daughter purchased for me the Limited Edition Six Blue Ray Disc with five extra behind the scenes blue ray discs.  I'll probably wait for some type of bundled Star Wars set for the seven, eight, etc.

Yes, I would love to be a part of your RAF GB.  I'm most honored and humbled in that you asked me to join.  Just please remember, my builds are not up to forum members standards, but I'll do my best.  It will be a OOB build.  The aircraft I'd like to enter with your permission (If you could put me down) is the Tamiya 1/32 DeHavilland Mosquito.  Thank you so much for asking me into the RAF GB.

Toshi, I can somewhat relate to an extent. I recently blew out my knee cap after tripping over a rail road tie chasing a punk. It was bad. I'm getting better now but nowhere near where I was before. What a horrible feeling it was being incapacitated. The important thing is you survived and you even discovered this wonderful hobby as a result. We're all here for you my friend and I can't wait to see that mossie. I have Lou Lumas' in 1/48 coming fairly soon.

 

Blowing out your knee cap sounds very painful.  It's always a difficult road to recovery to get back to where you once was.  I got hurt on 5/5/2010.  I'm still not where I'm supposed to be and the doctors say I improved but I still have a long way to go.  For me, it's very frustrating and I'm sure the same is for you.  

Oh well, this is definitely a part of life that must be mastered.  But most importantly the definition to life is to live it fully and that's what I try to do.  Finding this wonderful hobby was one key aspect to my recovery, it's people like you that I'm inspired by.  And that also includes all forum members, thank you Lawdog114 for your support in me and my projects.  It's greatly appreciated.

Thank you for such support and kind words about my building of kits.  It humbles me greatly in that you think that it; "Fit's here with some of the best".  Wow!  There's a Japanese saying that goes; "The student is only as good as the teacher is".  I'm the very lucky one as there are superior teachers here like you that helped me progressed within the two years I've been building kits.
