If anyone can push ahead through all this it's you. You are one of the most inspiring people I have ever met. You plow ahead no matter what, and that is cool beyond cool. I am looking forward to seeing you work this one up. It sounds like a really neat kit. Keep up the fight my friend, there are many many more kits yet to build.

BK

Thank you for the very kind words BrandonK.  I'm most honored to be an inspiration to you.  As far as being cool, your going to make Mrs. Toshi and my daughter laugh.  I'm far from being cool!  LOL!  But seriously, thank you sir!

As for the Mosquito build, I too am excitedly looking forward to this kit as well!  Upon it's arrival, I'll be taking photos of everything as usual.  I find that very exciting.

Thank you for always following my builds.  I get my inspiration from you and forum members!

Looking forward to your build......I'm doing the old monogram 1/48 in the night fighter version of the kit for Bish's RAF GB later this summer.  Not even close to the detail of your new one.  Get back on your feet soon, and hoping the torture helps out on your issues and they find something that will help.  I know how it is, I rattle for a half an hour twice a day with all the pills I'm on.

I know you will do your usual great work on the mossie.  Might consider hoping onboard his GB with it, the more the merrier, as they say.

I'm also looking forward to this build, it's very exciting to see this arrive.  I'll definitely get back on my feet, Mrs. Toshi told me to take it one day at a time.

As for the group build, I'm more than happy to join in on the fun.  Just let me know when it starts or if it started already.  Thank you so much for your concerns on me, I'm so appreciative of this.

Hi Toshi, glad you posted, since I had not seen a WIP by you, and this is unusual. Started to worry a bit. Hopefully the annoying cap and purse (this description made me smile) will get you sorted out so you can get back to building. Mrs. Toshi scored big time for you! I am sure you will do your usual excellent job when it arrives. I will definitely be following that build. Be well, my friend.

I'm glad also for posting something!  Anything!  LOL!  I was getting withdrawals.  I'm also looking forward to getting rid of this ridiculous cap and purse!  It's great to know that made you smile.  Mrs. Toshi just about laughed and teased me everyday about the cap and purse.  She called me a predetor (From the movie), plus I had to wear this while going out.  I just put baseball cap on to cover things up.

Mrs. Toshi definitely scored big time.  I'm just glad to have this kit shipped to me.  This kit scares me!  I've studied some builds of this kit on YouTube and everyone comes to a problem area and they have to fix it.  I know that this happens to us modeler's all the time but I'm praying I don't have any issues as such.  I'd hate to mess things up.

I want to thank you for your concerns on my well being.  It's extremely appreciated.  Also thank you for following all of my builds as well as the read and replies.

Hi Toshi,

I hope you had an enjoyable Easter with Mrs. Toshi.

My wife had an unexpected seizure and it was a life changer.  After months of testing, scanning, and draining of savings since insurance wouldn't cover " experimental diagnosis", they find it was due to an allergic reaction to predizone she was given for a skin rash.  They wouldn't allow her to drive, work, or even use the bathroom alone. I pray you get through this.  The mosquito should help.

I will ping the strings (quantum mechanically speaking) so that perturbations in the brane end up healing you.

Looking forward to the Mosquito!!

Looking forward to seeing your Mossie. I did Airfix's huge 1/24 Mosquito a few years back, and I have Tamiya's 1/48 Mark VI in my stash. I am hoping Tamiya will do a Mark IV of their 1/32 kit as I would like to hang a glass-nosed bomber version next to the fighter-bomber version.

Your movie choices for Easter were a bit curious but at least you picked the scariest and best monster movie that has ever been made (Alien). I hope you enjoyed watching those. And did you know the director of the original movie has made a new one called Alien Covenant, coming out next month?

Wishing you well as you deal with health.

iampiper13, thank you so much for your kind words and sentiment! I so greatly appreciate it.  Yes, I too am looking forward to this WIP!  I've been waiting for a year now to be able to build such a kit as this.

LOL!  I'm glad I didn't miss out anything as well on the chopper flight.  Thank your daughter for making me laugh today and also thank you for being such a dedicated supporter of my builds.  I'm most honored!

M. Brindos

I was knocked out for a few minutes in a walk-in freezer once by a hidden block of soup on top of a box. But i suffered very little in comparison. I have an inkling of what that may have felt like. But only a very tiny one. I even had my foot crushed by a forklift. Still not the same.

I can barely imagine what you are going through, my friend. For you to be where you are now... God must have his plans for you still. Wish I could be there for you. This must be highly irritating! I will continue to pray for your recovery.

On the modeling side of things, I've finally ordered the Airfix Me-109E in both 1/48 and 1/72. Like you, im excited to finally have something I've been wanting since it was released!

I guess we can both wait in our anticipation, eh? Lol

I really need to finish some things first though, lol. Unlike you my friend, i have many projects unfinished still.

I'll be looking forward to seeing you build your Mosquito!  :D

You are and have been so kind to watch over me my brother!  Thank you so much.  You too have had some very nasty accidents.  Especially the fork lift issue.

Yes, we can both wait in anticipation for our kits.  I've been dreaming of this Mosquito kit since it first came out.  I can't wait to get my hands on it!  I'm so excited too as I haven't been able to build a kit since I completed the P-38 Lightning.  I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for always looking after me, it touches my soul for you to do so.

Greg

Happy Easter Toshi.

I'm sure wearing all that gear is annoying, but it'll help you on the road to getting better.

And I'm excited for you, as Jay Jay said, it's great that you have something to look forward to. And that's only a few days away.

You've been in my thoughts everyday since you developed pnuemonia. You'll stay there.

A happy Easter to you too!  Yes, I have to sleep with it on and can't shower.  I've been doing sponge baths everyday.  That's the best I can do for the moment.  I just got a notice (Push) from eBay stating that my kit was sent.  So I'm excited to see my kit very soon.

Thank you for the well wishes everyday!  I so greatly appreciate it.  You are so kind to me.  You touch my heart.  Also, thank you for always supporting my builds.  You give me great inspiration.

To my fellow forum members,

I love you guys and gals.  You all care too much for me and I want to thank you for everything.  Especially those of you of whom wrote their best wishes and a quick recovery!  You are my brothers and sisters!

I went from Walking Pnuemonia to seizures.  What's strange is that there are no one in my family that had seizures nor having Epilepsy.  So now I can't drive F$&@!!!!  Well I can drive once my EEG test come in.  These seizures are from my work related accident.  250lbs. of board fell on my head and I was buried under this.  They life flighted me to Metro as I was in a coma for a week.  Hence my problems now are due to this accident.  But that's ok as I'm now making models with you all and this means so much to me!  My only caveat is that I wasn't awake for the helicopter ride.  LOL!

For several weeks I need to stay at home and am required to wear a cap filled with electrodes connected to a machine with cameras all over my home.  The doctor now will be able to monitor my every move, this machine is a huge looking purse of which the electrodes are connected to.  I wear this like a woman's purse.  The machine sends a computer via wi-fi all of my brain wave issues and concerns.  It's a PITA!  And I hate it!  I have to wear this and the purse 24/7.  So this my current situation hence my current lack of builds or is it?

Since I have to do this testing, once I'm done Mrs. Toshi had a surprise for me!  She purchased a Tamiya 1/32 DeHavilland Mosquito.  Yes, the one that averages on eBay for $225.00 plus!  That does not include shipping.  As I mentioned before, she's a bargain hunter.  She found one for $164.00 and negotiated with the buyer to do free shipping for my Mosquito kit!!!  WOW and YEAH!  How she does that, I know not.  I'm just happy to get this next kit.

I now currently own the top 4 Tamiya 1/32 kits, Corsair, Mustang, Zero, and spitfire.  Now with the Tamiya 1/32 Mosquito, I have completed my collection.  It arrives from Japan on 4/21/17.  The Japanese version does not include clear cowlings.  Only the exported USA ones have the clear cowlings.  What Mrs. Toshi was shocked at when she purchased the 1/32 Mosquito is that this Japanese model shop had the exported clear cowling kit.

If my memory serves me right, the clear cowlings are frosted.  Depending on the frosted cowlings if it is so and the placement on the engines are as such, I just might delete the clear frosted cowlings all together.  It'll look similar to my Trumpeter 1/32 P-38 Lightning.  The only difference is that I don't want to mess up a $200.00 dollar premium kit.  But I'm moving too fast at this point. I'm just trying to plan ahead.

Until the arrival of the Mosquito, please just be patient with me until 4/21/17.  This is exciting as I always wanted this kit but when it first came out it was in the $300.00 dollar range.  I want to wish you all, my FSM Forum family a happy Easter!  Today I'll be watching on IFC (Independent Film Channel) Alien, Aliens, Aliens 3, Alien Resurrection, Alien vs Predator, then Exodus: Gods and Kings.  For dinner we are having ginger chicken and rice.  A very unorthodox meal but it's just Mrs. Toshi and I.  Take care my friends!

Toshi

An added note on 4/18/17.

My children and my grandson surprised us by coming over for a visit on Easter Sunday to celebrate with us.  I had enough food so we all had fun and ate to our desire.  The kids brought delicious deserts of Lemon Pie and Tiramisu.  Ezra my grandson got his first Easter basket from Mrs. Toshi and I.

After a while Mrs. Toshi cringed through watching all that gore from Alien and Aliens, she changed the channel to a Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory Marathon.  Everyone had a great time.  In my humble opinion, this is what family is all about.
