To my fellow forum members,

There have been several surprise assembly procedures in this build.  The detailed cockpit, detailed interior, two piece fueselage, wing assembly, and now the landing gear.  I can't nor want to explain too much as I want to surprise all of you with the whole process.

So here is the landing gear of which is hollow.  This will be a surprise assembly as well.  For now I'll be assembling the wheels next.  That is another shocker!

Progress is lookin' pretty dang sharp there Tosh. Movin' right along. Yes

Yes, this build progress is moving along very well.  It is difficult in terms of build but I'm enjoying every step of it.  There were a few bumps here and there but thanks to members like you, I was able to overcome them.  Thank you so much for your support, I greatly appreciate it!

I had to go to Tremont in Cleveland for my neurological doctors appointment today.  It normally takes me three hours travel time.  After that, Mrs. Toshi and I went to Applebees for lunch and planned our day tomorrow.

What's so special about tomorrow?  It's Mrs. Toshi and I Twenty Fifth Anniversary!  We will be going to a steakhouse for dinner and maybe a movie.

This evening, I had some opportunity to work on the Mosquito.  As you can see, I was able to paint the lights through the clear parts.  I also utilized the available Tamiya mask for the lights and work on the fuel tanks.  The empty space next to the fuel tanks is for the Hispano Twenty Millimeter Cannons.  That area will also be open to view as it's a highly detailed area.  But let's agree that every area in this build is very detailed.  Next up is the main landing gears.

I see looks great are you breaking your fastest build time

Thank you crown r n7.  Absolutely not.  LOL!  It's taken me almost a month to get to this point.  It'll be another month before I can even lay the first coat down.  LOL!  Thank's for the visit.

Thanks iampiper13.  The kit is very overwhelming at times but I'm just taking it one step at a time.  Thank's for the support.  I greatly appreciate it.

Top and bottom wings glued together.  Nacelles are dry fitted.  Dry fit is nice and straight, no problems at all.

I do like the screw in wing concept.  No warping due to this as I would assume the size would warp the wing.  With the screws, everything is tight of which is a good thing.  I didn't use any pins, rubber bands, nor clamps.  This photo was taken five minutes after glueing.

WOW!  No glue required to assemble wing root to bottom half of the wing.  You tap in your machine screws and that's it!

To my fellow forum members,

especially to members that are moms and members moms.  And to you single dads that have to play the role of mom, Happy Mothers Day!  I only know that one member posts here presently that's a mom and that's Keyda81.  A Hapoy Mother's Day to you Keyda81!  If I missed any other members that are moms, please except my apologies.

Moms do so much and get paid nothing for it.  They are chefs, accountants, uber drivers, event organizers, food consultants, doctors, dentists, baby secialists,  baby sitters, musicians, teachers, custodians, home cleaning specialists, and many more too many to lists here!  Add all these fees up and your in the million dollar range a year for a job like this.  And yet moms get paid nothing for this.

So instead of celebrating one day of moms, lets try to remember how hard moms have to work and celebrate them everyday!  And that's especially to single parents like moms and especially dads!  Happy Mothers Day!

Tamiya has provided a mask for the light, so before I mask the light, I took this photo of it.  I really like how it came out with the MM Chrome Silver 1790.

It took me most of the day getting the wing root assembled and painted plus, the right wing undersurface.  Check out the chrome light!

Painted the chrome light with Model Master Enamel Chrome Silver 1790.  Also installed the PE radiator and MG1 Magnets.

Jay Jay

HOOO BOY !  This is your best work yet ! and the others are great too.

Man I'm enjoying this build . Those engines look fantastic with the paint treatment you did on them.

Thank you Uncle Jay Jay.  The engines took as long as the cockpit to assemble.  It's like a mini kit in itself.  The engines were painted with Model Master Enamel Flat Black.  Then brushed with Tamiya Weatherine Silver.

Thank's for the visit and being such a great support.  I highly appreciate it.
