Route62, you did a great job on a very neglected aircraft. I am especially impressed with the camouflage.

I'm with Bish. I think the inclusion of the figures is going to be great. :)

The base is we'll done and compliments that model perfectly!

So after finding a new way to host images, thanks Photo Suck It, I have some progress on my Havoc Dio.  I am reposting a pic of the finished Havoc to recap where I last left off.

I have since painted a monogram navigator figure, some bombs, a Tug, bomb lift and scratch made some bomb crates.  Everything has a coat of future.  Decals and wash/weathering next.

Dio tarmac base:

Navigator

Misc bits with self printed decals for crates

Havoc on base.  Not sure how layout will be.  Also have some fuel barrels not pictured yet.

I also have a pilot figure primed and ready to paint.  I plan to have navigator and pilot facing each other as if to be talking about the mission as bombs are getting loaded.

A little progess on the dio bits.  Got some weathering and decals on:

Bomb lift both with and without bomb.  Cut out the mid section of the lift and added styrene rod to simulate the working and mechanics of the lift and added foot pedals.  Also added some wood cradles used to steady the bomb as it was lifted.

Clarktor Tug and fuel barrels.  Added spark plug wires (not seen in picture) to tug.  Fuel barrels are resin bits from Legend productions. Tug not weathered yet.

Bomb and crates.  Crates made from popsicle sticks and decals on crates are home made.  Crates not weathered yet.

Just have to weather these last few parts and then paint one more figure and I can assemble the dio.
