That is one of the most beautiful built Tomcats I have ever seen.  What a great job you've done!

The weathering is astounding but what catches my senses more is the even application of the base coat.  That's a key factor in a great build.

PJ another A grade build you have achieved here, well done. Your restraint in the "grime" and general apperence is stellar. Just supereb overall work, I very much look farward to your next build.

In Progress
1/48 Tamiya P47-D Bubbletop
1/48 Hobby Boss TBF-1C Avenger (on hold)
Pending
1/48 Roden S.E.5a

Just finished this Hasegawa Tomcat OOB in VF-84 JR markings circa 1989. Double click on the images for closeups. This is a great feature from ImageShack.

Finally the kitty's claws

Worked from a picture of the actual 201 showing moderate grime mostly from the intakes back. The front was relatively clean. The decals were Aero Master 48-522 which had several mistakes in markings and colors call outs. It pays to re check and verify.
