Here is the almost completed B-17G. There’s still a few areas I have to clean up plus I need to paint the wing and tail tip area red. Then the decals will be applied.

Here is the most recent update. It took a lot of red paint to cover the wing tips. I used Vallejo Model Color Flat Red 70.957.

Good to see it's just about complete. You're doing a fine job - as usual.

I'm a little worried about your display wall ... you and Mrs. Toshi downsized right? How much room do you have left on that wall? Is the ceiling next? Big Smile Do you have room for the Tamiya 1/48 Ki-61?

I hope you're both doing well. My best wishes for Mrs. Toshi's speedy recovery and life as it should be lived to both of you.

Looks great Toshi! I'm hoping to do mine as Madras Maiden, but I finding decals is impossible, and I can't find the nose art online to make my own decals.

As always, I thank you so very much for the kind words. My wall can approximately accommodate ten more tightly hung Revell 1/48 B-17G’s. So I do have room for the Ki-61. Once the wall is filled, I have no idea what to do! lol! I’m sure Mrs. Toshi will help me out with this.

Thank you for your inquiry into Mrs. Toshi’s health. She’s developing headaches, strange lumps in her head and blurred vision. The doctors don’t even know what’s going on and I’m very worried. It seems Mrs. Toshi is very strong and positive about her issues and continues to move forward. Thank you 1943Mike, your presence is felt and greatly appreciated!

Thank you Keyda81. You’re always supporting my builds and I’m so honored! As for your Madras Maiden, I too have tried looking online for your decals especially on eBay. All I get is the 90’s heavy metal band Iron Maiden! lol! I’ll keep looking online for you, if I see something, I’ll contact you ASAP.

I doubt you’ll take that long to build this kit.

lol. Dude..........it takes me an average of 7 months to turn out the average build and all of those, automotive or aircraft, have had only one engine and one station (cockpit or vehicle interior) and not four engines or multiple stations. Believe me pal...........it'd be sensory overload.
