These birds fly around my house every day out of Miramar MCAS - cool bird. So I decided to build one
Pit done - I had to adjust the bulkhead when I put it it the fuselage
A bit of a Flory wash on the deck
So much seam work to do...
She's a big bird!
Thanks,
John
Nice start! Are you gonna leave the ramp down to show off the interior?
F is for FIRE, That burns down the whole town!

If you think it is big now, just wait till you get the props on. Mine is well over a foot and a half wide with them.

On the bench:
I have this kit in the stash, for a while now that I think about it, lol. I'll be following along!
Can this kit be built with those big rotors folded? I looked at the instructions on Scalemates but the instructions don't indicate the rotors folding.
OK. In the stash: Way too much to build in one lifetime...
There is a AM kit to fold the rotars. Mine will be a huge biatch...lol
Ya ramp down. The interior is really lacking but so be it.
Is this the Italeri kit? If so, it builds into a nice bird, with out TOO many problems....

Mortal as I am,I know that I am born for a day. But when I follow at my pleasure the serried multitude of the stars in their circular course, my feet no longer touch the Earth...
Yes it's the Italeri kit. Nice job. I remember seeing your build a while back. Great idea.
Man I forgot to close out this thread. I was keeping track in the VTOL group build.
Anyhow, here's how she wrapped up - check out Modelcrazy's VTOL group build thread here for the rest of the build... my bad.
