Greatings. It has been along time scense I have uploded any new pictiures.
But I have taken alot finishing step 5.
Here's the forward canopy with rearview mirror Photo in Building Kinetics 1:24 scale P-47D Thunderbolt "Razorback" - Google Photos
the mirror filled in the molded gap in the canopy and the place where I needed to paint Interior Green on the inside of the canopy Photo in Building Kinetics 1:24 scale P-47D Thunderbolt "Razorback" - Google Photos
After looking at a couple pictures, I saw that I am going to need to remove a little to match the real plane. Photo in Building Kinetics 1:24 scale P-47D Thunderbolt "Razorback" - Google Photos
To help sauport the Tail wheel assembly with adding a .100 2.5mm rod Photo in Building Kinetics 1:24 scale P-47D Thunderbolt "Razorback" - Google Photos Photo in Building Kinetics 1:24 scale P-47D Thunderbolt "Razorback" - Google Photos
I finished modifying the base, with the notch for the.100 2.5mm rod. sanded the molded flat sided tire. But now I wish I could have figured out a way to make the Tail wheel roll. Photo in Building Kinetics 1:24 scale P-47D Thunderbolt "Razorback" - Google Photos
Before I attached the Tail wheel assembly, I thought I would test fit it. Photo in Building Kinetics 1:24 scale P-47D Thunderbolt "Razorback" - Google Photos
I attached the port inner landing gear door. I plan to add the door strut, that would halp guide the closeing of the door. Photo in Building Kinetics 1:24 scale P-47D Thunderbolt "Razorback" - Google Photos
In this step I see they want to attach the antenna Photo in Building Kinetics 1:24 scale P-47D Thunderbolt "Razorback" - Google Photos
and the center line hard points. Photo in Building Kinetics 1:24 scale P-47D Thunderbolt "Razorback" - Google Photos
I was luck enough to remove them before they broke. I'll stick them back on when it's on it's wheel's
So I went to the next step. Starboard Wing. Photo in Building Kinetics 1:24 scale P-47D Thunderbolt "Razorback" - Google Photos
After seeing the molded in shell ejection slots Photo in Building Kinetics 1:24 scale P-47D Thunderbolt "Razorback" - Google Photos but no corresponding holes under the .50" (12.7 mm) Browning Maching Gunns Photo in Building Kinetics 1:24 scale P-47D Thunderbolt "Razorback" - Google Photos
Why not just dig them in, but I coulden't make them any longer, because then I would probally remove the slot's I need to attach the four guns. Photo in Building Kinetics 1:24 scale P-47D Thunderbolt "Razorback" - Google Photos,
As you read this, I have already painted the gun compartment yellow zinc chromate.
Before I dug in the holes under the guns, I looked for any good references. When I found this YouTube video. I had to watch it twice before I noticed the plane is vibriting 8 .50 Cals Firing on the P-47 Thunderbolt - YouTube
Alot like it name sake. The A-10 can only fire its 30 mm GAU-8 Avenger rotary cannon in short burts, because the blast will force the plane backwards.
Thank You for Your Time!
