Monogram 1/48 F-86D Sabre - COMPLETED

OK gang, I have a little progress on my F-86. I started this one before I left for my trip on Christmas day. I didn't get much done then, because I was more focused on finishing my F-14 and -16. Anyway, I've made a little more progress on this gem. I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Before I left, I got the cockpit started. I've since finished it and the intake assembly.

I got the speed brakes (in the closed position) and inserts installed. I sprayed a little black primer to check my work. (Not too bad.)

I also got the gear bays wrapped up. 

After that, I got the fuselage and nose pieces assembled.

I'm going to work on the wings while the seams dry. Once everything is nice and solid again, I'll smooth things out and restore any lost panel detailing.

O, I'll be looking forward to following your Saber Dog project on here. It always a treat to watch you work your skills, and I've been wanting to build one of these myself.
