ICM OV-10A Bronco Kit #48300
Posted by fxsti03-42 on Monday, January 8, 2024 7:17 AM

I was getting ready to start the ICM OV-10A Bronco last night.  This is my second attempt at the OV-10A.  My first attempt was the Testors kit that I bought like 20 years ago.  It was damaged in a fire in our office so I got the ICM kit.

This is the aircraft my dad flew in the Vietnam War.

I was going through the kit to make sure everything was there.  When I noticed something odd about the decals.  They sent me the decal sheets for kits 48230 (JU 88A-8 and 48406 US Armament.  (For some reason I can't post the picture??)

I contacted ICM and they're sending me the correct decal sheets.  So, this is on hold until the correct sheets arrive.

There was an awesome OV-10 build on here some years ago IIRC.

Chuk_w maybe.

Best way to search is your browser, not this site search.

Post photos on a third party site like Imgur, forking or post image.

Copy link here and it shows up as a picture link.

You cannot, on this site, drag-and-drop images.

They have to be externally hosted on some online server (and Kalmbach has to have granted them permission, too o_O)

Caracal 48230 comes up as:

So, yes, that would not help a Bronco build.

There are several Caracal 1/48 sheets, like this one:

Bill. I'm pretty sure it was the OV-1 that Chuck did.

CapnMac82.

Thanks, I figurd out that I need an image host.

It is the "ICM" decal sheets.  ICM is sending me the correct sheets since I had just recently purchased the model.  They're based in Kiev so I wonder how they're still doing business with all that going on over there.  However, they're doing it, they have great customer service.

Below is my manual with the decal sheets that were included.  I put this one back until I get the new sheets and am working on a Tamiya P-51B Mustang.
