Ah- this is great stuff brother.  I have really enjoyed seeing what you've done with this one-- if more magazines did this type of thing, I'd really learn some stuff!  I hope the FSM editors are watching...

 I am thoroughly enjoying not only your progress- but also your sketches as others have mentioned.  They remind me a lot of a book I have called "There I Was...25 Years" featuring the artwork of Bob Stevens from the 78th Fighter Group.  Looking forward to your next installment!

Maybe you were, but clearly not now!  Yeah, those websites are sweet.  I can tell we've only seen a glimpse of your sketching talent here.  Keep it up 'cause we like.

Yeah great idea Daywalker. So whats next?  A 1/48 B 29 with all the extras? Maybe a 1/48 Lancaster? Ohhh maybe one of those giant german flying boats with 6 engines in 1/48 that would be cool.

....or take things the other way and solicit Chukw to do a 1/144th build!

I've been watching this build from Day One with great interest.  This Helldiver build is simply incredible!  Congrats on 'beyond museum quality' craftsmanship and detail.  I'm including some of my fathers Helldiver history.  He flew 'The Beast' out of NAS Wildwood NJ.  Included with the pics is the official flight manual, some interior shots and his flight log book.  The blue chunk of metal is part of a Helldiver wingtip from a mid-air 'touch' doing formation flying!  Thank you so much for the detail and workmanship on your project!  jim

I can't decide whether I want to see the finished plane or not. On one hand, the finished model will be absolutely amazing! On the other hand, that will mean these awesome updates will be over.

Unless there's a sequel planned......hmmmm......one can always dream! (hint, hint, nudge, nudge)

Great SBS, sir, my hat is off to you!

It's really inspiring, because I have the old Monogram SB2C in the stash, and I want to do the same kind of bashing and superdetailing on it.  You're showing that with care, you can really do a nice job with a basic model.

Can't wait for the next installment!

Man Chuk, since i came on this forum a good year and a half ago, ive seen countless quality builds posted on here. Of all ive seen, Armor included, this build is the best (IMHO)

I looked at your websites and would recommend others too, too. Your cartoons are great. You have talent my friend.
