Got mine as well! Just gotta wrap it up and mail it out! The wrapping may well be the most difficult part. Maybe I should just cover it with Bare metal foil and weather it with a couple washes of burn't seinna? Whistling [:-^]

Maybe before wrapping in bare metal foil add a little wiring underneath with a tilt switch so everytime your victim, I mean recipient attempts to shake, rattle and roll it. XXXXX gets a little extra voltage to kick start the day off. Mischief [:-,]

*sigh* When I go to work on Thursday, I'm going to have to ogle all sorts of kits for my secret santee. Then I might have to take a stroll to the book aisle to see what I could rustle up, then the aftermarket decal aisle, then the photoetch aisle...........

OK! Got the model: a nice 1/## XXX for YYY. I'm confident this ZZZ-driven aircraft will fit nicely into his collection of @@@ aircraft.

I'll ship it next week-end: this way he should be drooling over his model for about seven weeks!

I placed my Squadron order last night for XXXXXXX.  It should arrive late this week, so I can get it all wrapped up this weekend and out to them!

Now what would be really, really funny was if someone packed their stuff inside 5 or 6 bigger boxes, taped shut very, very thoroughly.

Oh, sorry.... I guess that would be instigating for me to bring that up.

So I won't.

see I was thinking about covering it in sheet styrene then puttying and sanding the seams

It is only the intellect that keeps me sane; perhaps this makes me overvalue intellect against feeling

My confidential source (also known as The Stool Pigeon), I will keep silent on the name to protect the innocent, that Santa has booked the services of a couple of body guards to protect him while transporting the SSGB3 loot.

2nd if there is any more nasty innuedoes of rigged packages, he has the Bomb Squad and SWAT on standby.

Santa absolutely refuses to deliver a Spitfire to jwb.

I have reclaimed a minuscule area in my dungeon (basement).

Well, I have gotten tired or not being able to sniff glue fumes mating plastic surfaces together, splashing paint around because of basement renovations. So, I pulled rank and took back my territory last night.  Let the building begin.

One draw back, I'll have to cover everything at the end of the session to keep it clean.

That sounds great Papa-John. Thumbs Up [tup]Thumbs Up [tup]  A man can be without his manspace for only so long!

Jon, reminds me of that computer animation program that was popular awhile back that allowed you to morph one object into another.  Perhaps you could use that to guide your me 109 conversion! Clown [:o)]

Wow...I can't believe how excited I am just waiting for the UPS guy to deliver the kit from the on-line store..just so I can send it out to my recipient!!  This is the coolest ever!!  What other forum do you know where people who hardly know each other, except for one common interest, shop to make each other happy.  Proud to be a part of it all.
