Alrighty, I've figured out the kit and ordered it.  I've also worked out a nice goody package.  Kit should arrive in ~10 days, and be sent out the day after.  I hope XXXXXXXXX enjoys his new XXXXXXX!  Smile [:)]

Cheers,
Alex

Well,

The EOD just left after putting the finishing touches on the explosive early opening prevention device.  Strapped the crate onto a palatte and sent it off.  I thought with all of the safegaurds and preventative measures I took that the semi looked overloaded, but the driver assured me that all was well.  I sure hope it makes it intact!  Looks like XXXXXXX is gonna have a ball getting that thing open! Ah explosives! Seems my name is on some list so I had to use more primative methods. Here is the Texas anti shaking/ early opening device with just enough food to last until Christmas eve. Give or take a few days?

All wrapped and boxed  so I plan to mail in the AM ! Look for a PM and some anti venom JWB!

Slight delay for me in getting this XXXXXXXXXXXX MKXXXXXXXXXXXXX off to XXXXXX in XXXXXX. Dont worry it will be there in time for XXXXXX to have to sit and look at the wrapping paper for a while.

Sent XXXXXXXX-XXXXXX off to XXXXXXXXXXX today. I had trouble rigging the box with a mini-claymore. Staples took it with no problems though, I didn't tell them it had dangerous materials in it. Cool [8D] So if XXXXXXXXX opens the package early, he will just get a model with giant holes in it. Evil [}:)]Big Smile [:D]

Have to hold my breath.  Knowing my other half, I would probably need a magnifying glass to find it.  I'm hoping the scale is 2:1.  2 big pieces for me and an itty bitty tiny one for her.

The fruitcake (not me), the one full of rum (sounds like me) isn't ready till the 26th of Nov.  Boohoo [BH]

Oh my! Just got back from running my erands. Aaron's erands!  Har har! Get it? Nevermind..... Whistling [:-^] Anyhow, I mailed off the gift to the unlucky participant! Special wrapping and all. Do you all know how long you have to wear a pair of socks for them to turn the proper shade of Christmas colors. I used enough tape to seal off the odor but it should prevent any early opening unless the giftee is equipped with a Military style gas mask and protective suit. It should self decontaminate by Dec 24th. So I guess that job is done until next time!

Happy B-day PaPa  Feel like 20 eh? That's odd I just had my 43rd on the 20th of Oct and I feel 83. Good for you I say! Happy B-Day [bday]

Mark? you sure that gift is gonna make it there?

I was going for the same effect! Wanted to mail a 1/144,  $ 3.00 special snap tight kit but put it in a 1/48 Tamiya Landcaster box. Wife wouldn't let me do it though. But to have been a fly on the wall when someone got that would have been priceless!

Um, I have this box here that came in the mail from  xxxxxxxxxx    My dear wife, remembering the glee I had last year opening the present, vetoed me even opening the MAILING box ! The humanity....    she says I cannot open the cardboard mailer until mid november.

At my end, I found the LAST bit of goodie in this month's Squadron sales, so will be sending my box early next week I gather, squadron orders get here pretty quick.

cheers all!
