Mr. UPS has taken custody of my recipient's package and it is now rolling across country on it's journey to XXXXXXXX's Christmas tree!

Relax Aaron, you don't have to actually send one with your present.  You can assume your recipient already has one. Wink [;)]

Whew! that was close! Whistling [:-^] Not a whole lot of pine trees around here. Our idea of an evergreen is a date tree.  Think it was Christmas of 2004 it snowed 4 inches on the ground. Snowmen on the beach! Lasted all Christmas and was the only snow on Christmas day in over 110 years.  Someone needed a white CHristmas in South town!  It was spectacular!  Current temp is 83 degrees.

Well no snow here yet though we are starting to see some up in the hills around the valley.  Temp. are still above freezing but barely.

I got to thinking though. Would have been a laugh to through a bag of these in with the kit.  Maybe next year Mischief [:-,]

Shock [:O] not going there uh uh...

I was thinking more like some home baked christmas cookies with some eggnog to wash them down. Big Smile [:D]  Okay, sending eggnog through the mail might not be a good idea.

Seriously though, a few personal touches like a photo of the family, a letter with little bit about yourself, etc. etc. to help to get to know each other better kind of thing.  You know, warm fuzzy stuff.  Some guys might through in some AM goodies like extra decals etc. but don't feel like you gotta do it because other people have.

Hmmmm I usually stick with the boxer briefs myself but whatever floats your boat. Kisses [:X] I saw suggestions of perhaps a family photo to put a face to the name. Thats ok as I think my wife and kids are cute but I myself tend to be rather fearsome looking.  I burned a cd with some of the MP 3's I was listening to while browsing these threads and deciding what to send. Stuck it  in the box nothing to much just something to go with the card and give a personal touch to the person at the other end. If  still wondering go for socks! Can never go wrong with socks!  This is my 1st year participating and getting to know everyone so perhaps as my knowledge grows so will my gift giving skills. A prime example would be if Jon was my designee ( and I am not saying he isn't)  I would get a big 1/24 Spitfire box and fill it with a FW-190 A Me-109  and socks.

I foresee a big box with several lumps of coal in it heading your way Aaron.  or is that melted lumps of styrene?  Wink [;)]

Whoever has Aaron's name I hope you are paying attention...

Heads up jwb.  Seems like everyone is being naughty about loading their packages, that is coal, trees, red and green duck tape wrapping, wiring etc.

Not me, I am going to be a good little person and send a nice package with no strings attached.  My recipient won't have a thing to worry about.  I am a nice guy, not anEvil [}:)] devilish prankster. Whistling [:-^]

Card, family touch - ohoh and I thought I only had to wrap a box so it wouldn't rattle.

So if you "WERE" to get a big 1/24 Spitfire box and fill it with Messerschmitts...  what would happen to the Spitfire kit that was in the box?????

Ohh... and John, hate to tell you this but no one is buying it!  Wink [;)]

Wrapping paper.  I was going to glue popsicle sticks all around the item.  Maybe a good picture of the Grinch etched into the popsicle sticks, just to keep ************honest.

OK, whoes the wise guy who sent me this X-mas package this early in the GB. Had a box sitting on my doorstep when I came home from work today. I am going to hide it in the back of the stash till early Dec. I dont even want to see it tempting me till Dec 25th.

An interesting thing happened on the way to the email box. I got one from my secret santa asking if I recieved my package? I hadn't. He/she said it was send and recieved. Hmmm......... what is going on here?

So this morning I ask the boys if they took something from the mail box for me. They started to giggle. Confused [%-)] "Ok, you two - what of mine do you have?!" A few minutes of tickle punishment yielded a box with the SSGB3 logo on it. They knew I wasn't to have it so they hid it on me.

Now I must say, my kids were trying to do the right thing - but I win Whistling [:-^]

Now, the nicely wrapped package inside yielded a unique cover for the name tag. A severely evil twist on the twelve days of christmas. The package is wrapped 13 times! Each day starting on Dec. 13 I am to unwrap one layer to reveal a clue as to the contents of the package.

SoapBox [soapbox] This is torture I say - Torturrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrre! Only wish I thought of it to do to my santaee Laugh [(-D]

Take this plastic and model it!
