I got my package today. Returned home from a little expedition and there was a box on the porch. I don't want to even look at it until Christmas so I put it in the back of the closet so it doesn't tempt me.

Neat day!  I dispatched my wife to the local PO to put my gift to XXXXXXX in the mail and it should arrive in 2 days time.  Then after the thunderstorms that plagued the area throughout the day passed, I was finally able to get to my own mail box and discovered that Santa had been here.  My gift from YYYYYYY arrived and is now resting in a secured location while I continue putting up my tree.  Once the tree is fully up and decorated, then I can put that gift from YYYYYYY under the tree and well-hidden from my own prying eyes by gifts for the rest of my family.

Hmmm... got a Christmas Card in the mail yesterday from my secret santa but no parcel (mailed seperately).  Man that is torture.  Now I know who my Santa is and now I get to start guessing what kind of kit he would pick out without even knowing the dimensions of the parcel.  Torture... torture... Banged Head [banghead]

Of course, he could be one of those evil SS guys that wrap the kit in a bigger box just to fool you too so I guess I just have to endure for another 6 weeks.

Got a phone call at work this afternoon from my wife stating that SS made a delivery to the house.

Upon arriving home there was a package from **********sitting on the piano bench.  I ignored it figuring that if I did that the little gremlins inside would not start taunting me.

I'm not going to let this package get the best of me.........I am going to be tough and not wilt under the pressure.   I fooled the package - its still in the shipping package.   HaHaHaHa.

I win round one.    Round two coming up.

Me 1  - Package 0 Whistling [:-^]

You're a stronger man than me John, my package from XXXXXXX arrived today and WHAM!!! out the shipping container it came.  I'll have to share a pic of the wrapping later.  The pic on the front of the two (?) packages inside are hilarious and definitely made me think twice before ripping any further into the wrapping. Laugh [(-D]Tongue [:P]Propeller [8-]

You know it is my Birthday on Saturday.  Maybe my secret Birthday Fairy got confused and I was supposed to open it on my Birthday... Whistling [:-^]

Those are too funny!

I guess I should update here... Earlier in the week I got my gift from my SS. I think I may have to hide it from the cat more than from myself. Bright colors and paper covered boxes are like crack for a cat...hmmm maybe I should give it to her Mischief [:-,].

I also mailed my package to [insert name and location here] just yesterday. I'm such a procrastinator. You know what they say about procrastination: I'll tell you later.

Oh you are probably so right.....Laugh [(-D].  The package was so quiet this morning, I think it is trying to lull me into a sense of false security.   Proabably rigged, just waiting for me to try.  Maybe I should break down and open the shipping package to see what pretty coloured paper it is wrapped in.  Could be the shipping package is masking the sounds from in side (soundproof packing)

Still Me - 1 Package 0.5.  HaHa I'm at work.  Can't hear a darn thing from here.

Oh the agony, suspense.  But everyone is feeling the same way too. Censored [censored]

Drew I got lost when I went in the back. A big stack of kit fell on me and they did not find me for two weeks.

Hey!!!  Nice surprise on the door step when I came home..thanks SS!!  It's off to the closet with you so as not to tempt me!  Tried to explain to the loving wife how this works.."So a complete stranger sends you a kit?" she says..."And I send one to my recipient" I say..."Hmmm" she replies...secretly wishing she belonged to a group like ours.

Sending mine out tomorrow..felt weird buying Christmas wrapping so early...

When I was sending out my package the lady at the USPS office was impressed that I was sending out a gift.  She asked if it was for Christmas, and seeing the box it undoubtedly was, and was shocked that someone could send it so early.  Still waiting for my box of temptations to arrive.  Hopefully it doesn't arrive tomorrow as the weather does not look too great for a box to sit outside for any amount of time.

We should all have that problem!!! Laugh [(-D]

The early start was a good idea I think.  Parcel has been here for several days and I still don't hear any voices.  Either that or they are worried about setting off the bombs that are inside. Wink [;)]
