DAVE!!!! Daughter just made me some chocolate cake and I thought of you! Hope you had a great B-day!  You know I didn't think they celebrated those in Canada? Of course my only real knowledge of Candian culture is from South Park. Laugh [(-D] Go on spoil yourself! Soon there will be enough snow to build an addition to the igloo! Joking aside you are out in Western Cananda right? I'd come visit but they would mistake me for a Sasquatch! Grumpy [|(]

Aaron, Max, Thanks for your best wishes.

Strange Brew and South Park, what can I say, we are a very cultured society up here.  Did you know Homer Simpson has ties to Canada too.  Cool [8D]

I broke down and opened my mailing package and low and behold pretty wrapped package that has be rigged and can't be opened until the special day.  Only 38 days left from my time zone.  But I'm not counting.  Got a little bit of snow today.  But shouldn't last as they predict 11C on Tuesday, then drop again.

Also my SS Taped Shut [XX].  Included a 60th b'day card.

When my girlfriend arrived home tonight, I asked her if she would open the mailing container that held my SS3 gift.  I was afraid to open it in case it wasn't wrapped inside.  Inside, we found a neatly wrapped gift along with a padded envelope indicating it was OK to open that one immediately.  Inside was a very nice letter along with some photos.  I thoroughly enjoyed reading about my SS interests, life experiences, and other things.  Truly a touching gesture, THANK YOU SS! Approve [^]

I must confess, I'm a bit late, but I just found what I feelt could fit the bill from an online store! Since this GB is for things with props and other flying things, so I thought selfpropelled something might be good! (they had no pics) Big Smile [:D]

Cheers,

Well an unmarked package arrived today. Just a city and state for an address. Odd?  The mailman managed to dodge all the claymores and trip wires the wife has set up. Poor mailmen and UPS and Fed Ex guys. Wife keeps score on her boot!

Anyways  she took the package and opened it alone in the bathroom and it turns out to be a SS gift. Maybe?  Reason I say maybe is it is wrapped like a present. Ribbon, bow, extc,,,, but the entire job even the bow is made from silver duct tape. How ingenius! This is a fellow after me own black heart. Thankyou very kindly.

Wife was upset because she has no tree up yet so I stuck it in the airconditioner went where it blends right in.

If it isn't a faux paw! Or what ever that french word is for ediquette following error. I should post a photo of this persons incredible effort. I am just mad I never thought of this myself!  No worrys about early opening as I can start now and may get to the box lid by Dec 25th!  Thank you again it is here safe and plenty early to give me time to unwrap it!. Where is that bottle of goo gone at? Confused [%-)]

PS the gun is for when I find the return address! Mischief [:-,]

Well, when I pulled up to my house after a quick errand I found that the postman left a package for me.  It's definitely from my SS just in time for my birthday on friday.  I guess I'll wait until Christmas to open it.  Time to test my will power.

Bill, hope it's not the kind of rattle Aaron had in mind.  Shake it again and if the box moves on its own step away... far away!!!Wink [;)]

Nobut with this group, it pays to be careful. Aaron has his "hog leg" handy, I'll keep a long handled shovel in the living room!

Happy Holidays guys! Oops, it's not Thanksgiving yet, and where's Drew? I miss his whining!

Gettin quiet here...

I'm not sure whether to be relieved or worried that I haven't had a growling or ticking package show up yet...Quit posting your dirty package-wrapping tricks already!  I'm sure that Santa's got enough ideas as it is!  Big Smile [:D]

Cheers,
Alex

Whistling [:-^]

Not cold enough yet to break out the heavy artillery.  Still balmy for us.

There, Jon does that put you more in the festive mood.

Beware of quiet packages, they are plotting.........planning their next attack.  I hear it won't be pretty.

Interesting day today -  Mr. Fedex appeared, holding a large package at arms length, asking "What in the h**l is in here?"  The package was growling, snarling and practically jumping up & down.....was tempted to get the 12 ga., then I realized what it was......Secret Santa had struck!!! Thank you, whoever you are, I had SWMBO lock it safely away so that it doesn't get too riled up and sucker me into trying to open early (it sounds as if it might chew my arm off if I tried!).....

I tried to hide my package, but that didn't stop the whining and and innuedos that I should open it.  The sounds creep thoughout the house.  So, I had to put a stop to it.

Trotted off to Court this morning and saw the friendly - His Honour, Judge Scrooge and explained the situation to him.  He was very accomodating when I filed my injunction.  He called the accused - Mr. Wrapped Package - who remained mute, tying to play Mr. Innocent, and would not answer a question the Judge asked.  So, the Judge ruled in my favour.  He handed down a GAG order and slapped it on Mr. Wrapped Package.

Big Smile [:D]
