Jeez! Spend a couple of days on the hospital and everything gets out of hand. Guy's bangin' on about a multi engine GB and building a P-47 M as a D version without the instructions and no one even noticed I was gone. Well first things first. Guy here are your instructions for the 1/48 Tamiya P-47 D.

http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10031547

Second sign me up with the old MPC 1/72 He 177 that has been lurking in my stash forever. The landing gear and doors even work on this kit. Plus it comes with the Henschel radio guided missles. Might have to scare up some decals but it should be a pretty neat subject.

So Guy what prize have I won?

Guy, I say yes, you should wire the engine. Just makes an R-2800 look right, ignition leads nestled betwixt the pushrods, looks like, VICTORY!!!!!!Tongue [:P]

Steve the ju fits the criteria perfectly. Welcome aboard mate. Greg, as long as your here, thats all that matters. The sn is looking mighty fine and it qualifies for the multi sub-build as well. How cool is that? Thanks for looking for the instructions btw. I posted the same request on the main forum and Bob Bailey sent a link with the right ones in under a minute. what a star. No delays for me unless i decide to wire the motor. Well, should i?...Guy

Hello all,  I thought I'd try and post some update photos of my RA build.  So far, so good.  I am moving along on the interior.  I've managed to get a lot of the little bits done: engines, seats, instruments  etc.  I added some strip in the interior before painting.  I am working on the guns right now.  I replaced the barrels with brass tube, and added the kit flash hiders.  Unfortunately, I forgot to bring my green paint to work with me, so I am kind of on hold with putting the fuselage interior together.

I ordered the same book Guy bought.  I figure that ought to be a great read!  Although I don't join in on the banter, I really enjoy reading it.  I check here for new posts before anywhere else.

As for the sub-build, I might join in if I can finish off some other things first.  Those condors and 290's are really cool.

Take  care,

- yat yas!

Oh yeah? And what would old Fupesy know anyhoo? Anyone who wears Lycra is deffo a bit odd.

I need some help PDQ. Who has the Tamiya P-47D in thier stash? That is the build im trying to do in a hurry, just so's i can embed myself here with multi-engined lovliness.

The kit im building is Tamiyas P-47 M. They are very similar and im going on the instructions by using the parts it says 'DO NOT USE', to make the 'D' model. The problem is a few of the bits it says dont use (That ive got too) dont appear to go anywhere, Hence the instructions needed. 1st to scan them in, wins a prize.

Anyhoo, since yesty, this is where im at with it,

I bought these decals to tart up the sidewalls and countless other uses. Theyre great. Go get some,

So ill let the glue go off for 24hrs and then attack the seams. Its being built mostly OOB but im getting the urge to wire the engine.

Oh, i got a German book on the JU-290. Lovely jubbly. Loads of corking pics. Anyhoo, get scanning, i need this finished.

Awwww geeeezzz, just when I thought I had managed to break away from this insanity I get pulled back in again. I have a JU-88 I am currently building for another GB that if his highness Guy will allow I will post progress here. I have just buttoned up the cockpit on it so you be the judge on that. Here is where she is.

I also have my HE-177 by Airfix that has been in my stash since 1978 just beggin to be built in all its flawed excellence. IMMM BAAAACCCCCKKKKK

To you enquirers of the HS-126, heres 2 links for you. The 1st is the company. (They make fantastic engines BTW) and the 2nd is a review from Brett Green.

http://www.neomega-resin.com/vector/kits.htm

http://www.hyperscale.com/2009/reviews/kits/vectorvrk48007previewbg_1.htm

At the show where i picked it up, there was no waiting or deliberation. I saw it and laid the card down. It had to be mine. One was resently built in Scale aviation modeller, i think? It looked gorgeous.

Muwahahahaha, we have the Simpilot hooked. Whos next?

Awwww now you guys go and up the ante with a sub build!!! Sigh [sigh] If I can I will, I really wanna!!!! I know how slow I build and the excuses I make up that make me that slow, but will enjoy watching nonetheless till such time as I see I can commit a build here.

Hmmmmmm Multi engined? Preferably 4? at least 2?  Oh  Jeeze!  I have an Arado -234 C that can fit the bill. 4 Jet engines? Does that count?  And why are there 2 post of the same thing?  Evil Guy twin?  I knew I was right about that cloning theory! It is the only way he could be building so fast and so well!

Oh geez. Rules as well, You guys are really taxing my abilities. oK. For the sub build, the multis must have more than 1 engine, preferably 4. Dave must produce a stunning camo, Aaron must regularly post strange and revealing pics. Jeremy must keep his clothes ON, Bondo must keep talking in code. Crusher must concede his ugliness is down to lack of moustache, Sean HAS to keep cultivating his stunning facial hair, Daywaster is allowed a 'By' on this one if he wants, seeing as he takes months to do one prop, imagine the stress on our optivisor and plaid wearing Gods wellbeing if he had 4 to do. Im sure ive forgotten many people, but as you know, i like to emmend the rules as i go, Right, whos kicking us off? BTW RA stuff still goes concurrrently. Confused? Me as well!...Guy
