OK, s I am reporting for duty as ordered. Broke open the box last night and am looking forward to this one. One slight problem may be my decals, the white parts are severly yellowed. I might have to try that taping them in the window trick or go shopping for new ones.

BTW, I have been meaning to ask what swmbo means, I dont have a clue.

Shock [:O] About my normal bed time!  So I dug and dug through my closet. Found the Edward MS kit. Only took 4 hoursLaugh [(-D] I really should get more organized. Nah!  Off to the post office!

If he's going to wear the maid outfit, maybe he could at least shave that fungus growth on his chin? Confused [%-)]

I agree Frank...not a pretty mental picture.

P.S. Hey, Barry, can I get some extra credit? I spoke with a guy at work who is, indeed, Italian.... He doesn't know what a smoke ring is, though.

Guy and Steve- Thanks for finding those decals and the kit for me, much appreciated!  I think I have a line on a Hasegawa 1/48 G-4 kit, but it's good to know there are others out there.  Thanks again fellas!

Guy- More homework?  No wonder I can't get started on my RA build. Disapprove [V]

Hey Guy, I am 100% Irish and I hale from Dublin. I also lived in Birmingham when I was a young lad. My dad was a bus driver. I moved here to the States in 1980 and I live in Waynesboro Va now. I will be home for a holiday in February as I go home once a year and also visit some family in Wales.

Frank, I was at the LHS today and they had a 109G-6 in Italian markings there. Hasegawa I believe.

Aaron, I also saw those Pacific Coast models at the store and they look sweet. You got them for a good price to what I saw them for. While there I picked up Italian cockpit green as I had no idea what the interior colour was and also Italian sand. Dont know if that is the right fuselage colour but it looks good. I was going to paint it in RLM79. Who's got the proper reference colours for these things.

Steve

P.S. There are 3 million in Ireland and far more of Irish decent in the US.

That is a killer score Aaron! I am jelious. My hobby store does not carry Pacific Coast Models but I think I am going to have him special order a couple for me. Mus'nt waist any of that $200.00 dollar gift certificate. I have the Modelworks 1/32 Mc 200. It is an all resin kit with unbelievable detail as it should for a retail price of $150.00 dollar price tag. I snagged it off of eBay for $75.00 dollars a couple of years ago. Now I am afraid of screwing it up because it is so expensive so it is still waiting its turn in the stash. Looks like Guy was right about how that gift certificate was going to be spent.

Guy it is probally true at least in the New England area of the States. You can't throw a stick around here without hitting someone with irish blood in them. I'm only 50% myself but my dad family on back to the 1820's when they arived here from Irerland is 100% Irish. My childhood memories are of lousy food and great parties!

Darren happy 44th!Happy B-Day [bday] I am coming up on 43 myself on Feburary 2. [PM me for my addy so you know where to sent the presents}

Aaron typing in small letters will not allow you to slide one in the back door. My monitor is 42" and the type is still very readable I assure you. I am not that old an my eyesight is still pretty good. Guy give him more homework for this underhanded trick! I say a hundred word essay on history of the development of the Breda Ba65.Shock [:O]Shock [:O]

Well then who would pay for the house? Going to be married 21 years soon. (WOW) Shock [:O]Dead [xx(] Dee is all to well aware of my love for models! She tolerates me very well. Like she says lot worse things I could be doing with my time. Mischief [:-,] Besides I made the Minister put it in the wedding vows. Is it bad she sends me a message on the forume when she wants to go out on a date? Cool [8D]

Ok fellows I am excited! My mail packages are arriving! One came in a big cardboard box marked cookies! Boy was the wife disappointed there to find a model inside! That was mean! Wish I'd thought of it! Evil [}:)] Anyways I apologize in advance for making the pics large but there are some color conversions included I am hoping you will be able to read.

Here is what I got!

The 2005 is spectacular!

the C 202 is almost as good. No color PE just regular .

Here are the color plates for the 2005

and the C202

If the fit is as good as the reviews claim then these are probably some of the finest OOB 1/32 scale models to be had. Very detailed. All AM stuff is there already. If your a fan of 1/32 I highly recommend them! Way cool! Price is about the same as a Hasegawa 1/32 kit. Around 50 bucks which when you add the resin pits and PE. Is not bad really.

Oh yeah Frank..... got the Hasegawa 1/32 G-6 today as well. It was in the cookie box! You is a bad bad man! Check for PM!

Anyhow, last night, I finished up the cockpit/pilot and put it into the fuselage halves. I also finished up the wings which are ready to be put into the fuselage once it's together. I'll get pics when I can. Sorry guys Blush [:I].

LOL, im glad your all keeping a close watch on the GB, even if you not all building. I think its down to Franky boy, keeping everyone away with other GB's the swine. Extra homework for him i feel.

Ive almost finished my Fokker DVII for his GB as well. So ill be here dreckly

As for the Irish thing. Where abouts in Ireland are you from Steve? Im not familiar with Waynesborough

I read a statistic once that said there were more people living in America with Irish Decent than were living in Ireland. LOL. Now thats crazy.

Just kidding you, there, Sensei. Hope your go around with the cold is getting better. It would be tough to be leaderless here. Although less homework would be nice...

Sean: Great idea holding the gear doors in place with styrene. I wouldn't have thought of it!

Dave: Cool looking plane their. I didn;t know that (about he British ordering Italian aircraft). British markings would be pretty cool.

Hey guy I see we have gone to self mutilation as punisment for not finishing enough builds on time. I do'nt know if telling jokes about the Irish was well times when it seems it is the chap for England is the one who impailed himself on his own knife. By the way did you notice the last name on the letter I sent you with the decals in it? Fitzgerald! Yes I am half Italian and half Irish! Just thought I would wind you up a bit! Hope your lip is ok. You might want to stay away from acitic drinks as I am pretty sure drinking them will sting a bit. Now lets see some progress on that Cr 42!

Making progress on the Re 2000. Installed the resin wheel wells and closed up the wings. Started on the resin cockpit and letting the bullkhead set up so I can do some adjustments and get a good fit to the fuselage. Going back to the 109 G-14 as it was started first and I really want to catch up.
