Dear Guy, and the Regia gang,

this will be first attempt to post pictures, so please bear with me.

I don't have the ability to post a video, so my intro will have to be in picture format.  The closest thing I have to a man cave, is the supply closet at my work.  I am a fireman for the City of San Antonio, Texas.  If we are not busy while on shift, I can use my time as I please.  That usually entails some modeling!

I am just coming out of a building slump.  We got a new LHS here, and that has picked me up.  This GB looks like a lot of fun.  There is an incredible amount of camaraderie here.  I don't know much about the Regia Aeronautica, but I am learning a lot here.  As for my build, after looking at Guy's SM79, I had to order some aftermarket!  Actually, that was inspirational.  So, I should start my SM79 next week, when my Eduard stuff comes in.

Thanks again for letting me join in the fun.

Greg

Guy I am definetely going to build at least two more for this GB. I am trying to keep only one build on the bench at a time right now and as you know that is the Tamiya 262 right now. I have so many RA kits in the stash I can not decide which one to build next! I know you wanted to the see the Pacific Coast 1/32 Macchi C200 but I also have the Special Hobby  1/48 G-55 that Sarge sent me that I want to build in the cool looking three color splinter scheme. Then there is the Me 109 G-6 that I have the decals to do it up in RA colors too!! Man I am so confused!

Which Sm79 kit are you building? Please don't say Trumpeter or I will be having nightmares for you! Black Eye [B)] Big Smile [:D] j/k

I built the Trumpeter SM79 1/48 and it hated me. If somebody would update the front page you would know this but it is on page 130. Whistling [:-^]

Good luck and I hope to see some progress soon. Thumbs Up [tup]

Thanks for the welcome, I sure do appreciate it.  I will have to brush up on my use of the electronic arts, or more likely get my 9 year old to do it.

I am sorry to say, no mustache.

I think I am going to start with the S.79.  If anybody has any advice for it, it would be appreciated!

Thanks again guys,

Greg

Gregbear, welcome to the GB. Im sure the others will welcome you with open arms. My 2nd in command 'The Sarge' or Aaron as hes more commonly known, will make an appearance at some point. (Hes a bit crook at the mo, with a bad back). Also our sagely Bondlikins will make an appearance as well. Great selection you have there. Whats going to be 1st on the bench then? Oh and do you have a moustache? Another gimmie, is the production of an introductory video. Showing your mancave or place of operations. A few videos were assigned as homework a while back. Have a look if you like. As i cant remember what page.

Voidses, Pictures man!! We need pictures!! and i dont think weve had a video from you yet, have we?
