You're scaring me...

...the Bondo story is scaring me.

Strangely, I'm also intrigued.

Well then, identify any three women in this picture. One is Miss Italy runnerup, one is Mrs. Bondo and one is Miss Bondo. One is a Federal cop who is packing heat (my Italian landlady), and one is Miss Italy  (runnerup)'s madre. One mistake will cost you, bubba.

Question: what is the second language on that sign, and why?

And the last house on the left down the hill is the home of my mother-in-law's father until 1906.

Actually SC!  Bondoman is in his late 20's. He was lost at sea as a child along with another little girl and landed on an uncharted desert Isle.  As they grew together over the years so did their passions and intrest in oneanother until ... well you know. After being rescued 13 years later Gilligan as he was known then and Mary Ann had a hard time readjusting to society.  Eventually they settled in the Bay Area where his odd mannerisms with shellfish would go unnoticed.

Explains why his wife and daughter look more like sisters too. What happened to him? Well he forgot to use sunscreen.

One of these pics is relevant but I don't know which.

Confused [%-)]

Just turned 34... but if you ask the wife, I just turned 12 again. And when the fellas come over for a drink, I'm 10. And when I get on the go-cart, I'm... etc, etc, etc. In the end I'm only 3.

Hey now! I only started on this kit back in June I'll have you know! All good things take time.Smile [:)] Besides we can't all be model building machines like Aaron and you. I like to pace myself a bit like Frank. The bigger question is what to build next/ I have the SH G-55 Sarge sent me the Pacific Coast 1/32 macchi C202 and I also wanted to build a G-6 in RA colors. It will probally take me a month just to decide which one to build!

Jeremy a big happy birthday to youHappy B-Day [bday]. Please tell me your older than me. Almost everyone I know is younger than me and I am really starting to feel old.Tongue [:P]

Upon opening the box, I found that the two center struts are already broken in the box. Shock [:O]

I'm off to a good start!

BTW... my birthday was tuesday and I talked the wife into letting me get one kit (or three). That's how I ended up with this one. Evil [}:)]

Your Guyliness - I wanted to know if this would be a suitable subject for my next build. I've got a messy bench right now with my helicopter and a Spit for the Air Racer build but I think I can squeeze one more in.

I don't think this was actually produced but maybe one or two prototypes.

Acceptable Question [?]

Jeremy, that looks like a beautifull addition. As long as it has the right national markings or comes from the right country its in! Do be aware, as has been said, those struts are definately a doozy. It can be done, its just a struggle. I gave up on the kit struts and used AM ones. Only after id shelved the build for a while.

Oh yeah, Crusher you had a G.55 you were doing, didnt you? Wasnt that way back in the Reggy aeron GB pt 1? LOL...We need picceroonies. Get on it man. Were all expecting big things.

Jeremy that would be a cool build. Be warned though both Guy and myself build this kit and has major problems with the struts. We both broke several of the fragile struts and the lenght are not correct on some. I mounted the center struts up first and let them set. When I went to mount the outer struts some came up to short. I fiddled with them and tried to manipulate them but in the end three of them snapped right in half. The only fix is ordering some aftermarket struts that are cut to lenght. There are a bit to thick but at least they do not snap in half so easy.

Looks great to me Sean! I know the power of the zoom! Banged Head [banghead] Hey that prop on mine is actually plastic from the old 1/400 scale Heller kits. Looks good though!

Haven't really got the pilot in mine as I wanted to pose it with the front flag pole and fence but I did put a ground crew on it!

I am getting a bit rusty in my detailing as I was trying to show Cpt Bondo blowing chunks over the rail after Dave wizzed in his cup.  Still working on the cups. Getting tougher to please these people I swear! Laugh [(-D]Make a Toast [#toast]

Sean, I would donate the prop to the carpet monster and put a little stick of wire on there. Or take it off and put a tarp over the motor which is probably how it spent it's life anyways, and then you won't have to wire the ignition harness! Love it though.

I've been researching the Supermodel Pipistrella vs. the upcoming Italeri release, and there does appear to be a difference. Several sites have mentioned that the original model had no fabric scalloping on the sides, but too much elsewhere. That the Italeri one has a better rendition. It's $21 for Supermodel vs. about $ 40 for the Italeri, so I'm going to have the LHS get one next month on 20% off, and open the box and check it out to see if it's worth it, which it probably will be.
